Another pub gone including the hair and hounds and the snipe the list is endless and its such a shame its not like it used to be in Oldham thers to many takeaways and hmos

Had a drink in here after a show at the Coliseum. The landlord poured the contents of the drip tray into a glass and left it there for the next customer. One of our group asked him if it was hygienic. "Oh yes, all the trays are clean, it's company policy to reduce waste".........!!!!??????????? Then went on to do it with every single pint he sold. We just finished our drinks and left.
A rare thing in Oldham this pub in the fact it is a real and proper pub. All credit to the landlady and bar staff.,,, looking forward to a few pints and good company in here tomorrow
My favourite pub in Oldham centre. Proper throwback. If you're looking for a really cool hidden gem that serves a great selection of beers and spirits then I would suggest you go elsewhere. This is a PROPER pub. No music, no TV's and mobile devices are frowned upon. Conversation is the order of the day within the hallowed walls of this place. The best compliment I can give this pub is, it's honest. It's a public house and it serves beer from the Sam Smith's brewery. It does not try to be anything that it isn't. I love it.
Nice friendly pub. Great pint of Sam Smith's. Roaring coal fire in winter.
Good selection of beer kept in fine condition. Prices very reasonable, not like charges in London @ £13:00p a pint.
