Been drinking in this pub nearly every week for 15 years and It is still one of my go to favourite pubs in Oldham town centre, with music, DJ entertainment Thursday to Sunday, pool table. Great staff, chilled out doorman, and a friendly mixed crowd, LGBTQ, straight, young, old.
The two staff members that worked friday 19th late evening until close early morning (Saturday 20th december, Ellie and Kit) as well as the security/door staff (Dave??) , were absolutely incredible. They let me (young female) charge my phone inside after last orders making sure i got home safe, whilst also keeping an eye on who was buying me drinks and what i was drinking to make sure I was okay. All three staff members are an asset to the team!
We love this place but sometimes can get too much by certain individuals, to be called homaphobic is a disgusting word to me & ruined a great night,still 10/10 though,
We popped in after the euros ended and were able to get some drink and had a top night. There's alway a friendly atmosphere and the music always get you moving.
Fantastic, safe pub! Great for solo, couples, families, groups. Can get the same if not most drinks as surrounding pubs/clubs wayy cheaper! They have snacks at the car also. They have a TV which is only on in the day to my knowledge. They have a pool table also. Select days the pool is free but you need to be following the Facebook page to find that out. The pub offeres entertainment every evening they are open at no extra cost. This would be either a show, cabaret, dj, karaoke, a singer....at no extra cost. The pub owners David and Terri are the owners and are very friendly and very welcoming. They also have a huge presence when it's Oldham pride where they are providing a save place and entertainment to the community. Trams and buses are 2 to 5 mins away depending on your speed. Its literally the best pub in Oldham!
Absolutely love this place i have been 3 times now and everytime I have been made to feel welcome friendly atmosphere jus like a home from home everyone is treated like family
No amount of stars is enough to explain How awesome this place is, Just love this place on weekends, one of my favourite places to visit on weekends and also the owner is so friendly and welcoming, I would suggest everyone to visit here at-least once, straight or non straight ❤️❤️
Nice friendly staff, food is good value for money and beer prices are reasonable. Tuesdays they have an excellent pool and crib team who are recently new to the oldham east league,one opposition player was reported to have said " this team has been a breath of fresh air " putting the oo into pool!!
