Cliquey bar with 40 year old men who gossip like women. Never in my life have I gone somewhere on a Friday night to see grown men and spiteful wives sit in uncomfortable high tops while a young couple dances. You’d think you would be inviting of good energy but instead this place caters to people who are better than thou and they leer and scoff at someone having fun. The food is great! It’s not worth it. There is no love here. There is no atmosphere other than middle aged people who regret their paths in life. It’s a real shame you can’t come to a pub on karaoke night to have fun (while they were setting up lights for karaoke tonight they said they weren’t. Don’t treat people like they are stupid, you’ll lose business in the end). Bottom line: this is one of the most unwelcoming bars I’ve ever been to in my life. I hope the 40 year old girlish gossiping men who won’t run a tab are worth it. Because no one will ever have fun here.

Not quite the night we were hoping for. The bartender was fantastic—a real credit to the place—but the atmosphere felt more like a rock gig than a sports bar, with loud heavy metal and an intense vibe. Sadly, the owner made us feel unwelcome, so we left early.

Great pub to drink in. The last 2 reviews were customers who had gone in for free drinks every day. Landlady with the blueish hair had tried to explain to them that it was one free drink per week for regular customers and they took offence. The landlady and the 2 girls who were working the bar were doing a great job with the covid rules and tried their hardest to meet everyones demands.
