Really love it here. Such a nice atmosphere and very welcoming . It's a pub so very good and as for the food when I've had a sandwich or a pie or when we've been in for a function the food as always been spot on
Called for a drink on new years eve, told by the landlord that it was a ticket only event, therfore wouldn't serve us a drink and asked to leave, yet while waiting for a taxi to move on we noticed many people entering without tickets, unfortunately this is probably part of the reason as to why pubs are empty refusing passing trade, your loss we won't ever be calling back again...went Hare & hounds in saddleworth & had fabulous night highly recommed.
Lively, friendly pub with a good atmosphere. Enjoyed the live music. No cask ales but pleased to see a mild on which was excellent.
Dropped in on Saturday evening to see an act that was on. The pub was very busy, but the staff were really friendly and efficient and didn't leave us waiting too long. Great atmosphere, and I was glad we went.
Feb 23 - we're not local so held mams wake here for convenience really. Excellent choice traditional pub with traditional values. Delicious hot pot, selection of tasty pies, sausage rolls, sandwiches and cakes etc. Without exception the pub staff were helpful, curteous and friendly. We were so pleased with the way they looked after us all.
