Saturday 26th July 2025 This pub in the upper class end of Chaddesden is a old fashioned 2 roomed pub This pub had normal ales on today This pub has great staff/owners behind the bar well mannered locals, and the pub iscsituated in a really peaceful area There is also a grand outside drinking area at the front of this pub

The whole pub needs a deep clean, including outside. Shame as it is in a lovely location, but when you employ kids who do not really know what bitter is available or even what the WiFi code is, what can you expect? Noisy locals with noisy kids can bring in MaCDONALDS meals and take over tables other customers could use. Even the toilets are manky. On the plus side, it is dog friendly.

Amazing night at the bonfire and fireworks. Well organised and the fireworks were excellent. Food served was tasty especially the Tata ash. One criticism and only a small one as this is a free event, maybe some portaloos next year to increase the capacity for the weak bladdered.

Good beer and pleasant surroundings, I think maybe very nice in the summer. Bit quiet hence the 4*

Cosy pub with open fire. Good range of beers. Lots of outside seating, covered and uncovered. Dog friendly so plan it into your route

Had my mums 80th party yesterday at the Church Inn. Can't speak highly enough, the staff were superb throughout the day, nothing was too much trouble at all, the buffet was top notch. Thanks guys, very much appreciated

Wasn't serving food when we visited, kitchen being refurbed bank holiday May'22. Why would you do that after 2yrs of quiet and need the businesses but hey! Little dated in and out, could do with a little 'love'. Outside is disappointing lots of cracks in the patio and fencing falling apart, quick drink and left felt like didn't want to stay.

Have fond memories of visiting this place for orange and lemonade which i did as a kid. Went in last night with my dad and my boyfriend for a drink on a walk out. Really cute area and a nice interior. Has a pool table in an anteroom which I havent played on. Does good beers and food.
