   Called in here the other day . The atmosphere was clan like . Most tables reserved . Plenty of outdoor seating but too cold really to eat food outside . Tried ordering on the app . Nearly everything on the menu was either out of stock or not suitable for our liking . Maybe it was to ensure the reserved tables had pick of the menu but even so no steak no burgers no chicken filled available by ordering on the app was a bit unrealistic for 5pm on a Saturday evening. We dined elsewhere eventually as we couldn't even find an appletizer on the drink menu and guiness was over £6 a pint . I suggest booking a table in advance as it may be different if you order ahead .

   First let me say it great value for money. We were there on a Thursday and BOGOF on burger meals. £20 for 4 burger meals great value. And the service was quick. Maybe 10/15 minutes. Just a shame they came Luke warm. But we were so hungry and at that price we did not want to complain. And with 2 pints of coke zero less than £30 can't go wrong.

   The Carousel has recently had a makeover and I attended their VIP opening evening. There was a buzzing atmosphere, friendly staff and taster bites of the menu going around the room. The renovated space is lovely and is a perfect choice for a casual drink or bite to eat!

   So we thought we’d try this place again since the revamp, which looks fab inside. However the food was awful. The steak was watery and no flavour and like chewing on an old leather boot. The jerk chicken wings tasted and smelt of cinnamon and there was no jerk flavour at all. On the upside the chips were hot and fresh but that steak hasn’t seen a grill at all and neither did the onions. Apparently it’s meant to come to your table sizzling instead just swimming in water with soggy onions. After spending £80 we won’t be back, we reluctantly took the steak to give to the dogs. The staff were nice though.

   I received a gift voucher for Christmas to use. A family of 2 adults & 2 children. My son is currently wheat and lactose free. Having spoke to a member of staff, he was very efficient and extremely helpful in addressing my sons meal requirements. Although the menu was limited my son was happy with his choice. Great food and great service. We will definitely return here again.

   First time using this pub as bother moved to the area. Found it clean, staff friendly and good value. Meals where brought out to us quickly and they all were hot and tasted great. Will be back for food and drinks for sure
