Possibly the best draft beer selection in Stockport, this is also a great old-style pub with lots of small seating areas around a central bar, and a good sized, decked beer garden and pizza kiosk at the rear. Highly recommend.
An oasis in Stockport like entering and leaving different worlds, lovely decor and a fantastic selection of beers something for everyone, had ‘Karen From Accounts” they had “Dirty stopout” last night also a “Disco Balls” if you’re in Stockport come here, nice staff friendly locals
An absolute drinkers paradise with friendly, efficient service. It’s only Monday and we have 11 of the 12 cask ales pouring plus additional craft keg lines. A truly fantastic pub to visit and lament that there’s not more like it.
A great selection of beers & LARGER at good prices no telly but a pool table and great outdoor decking, well worth a visit, worth the walk from the Stockport bus station 10min up the A6 past the old Debenham towards Manchester
Fantastic pub. Great friendly service, nice atmosphere, and the best beer you can hope for! Would be 5 stars, but no food. Will endeavour to return!
Can't believe I've never been here before. Top end selection of craft beers, served by staff that know what they're doing, reasonable prices, cosy but lively environment with loads of snug rooms, one with a fire on when it's cold, great pizzas...and we finally discovered the pool table and dart boards. Can't fault it, and really good to see a proper pub doing so well.
What a great place. One of my favourite pubs. Huge selection of ales, really well priced, brilliant atmosphere and hand made pizzas on a weekend. Can't beat it if you like beer.
