   I think it's a very rough pub stay away from the place iam kwite close by most weekends there are people fitting up and down the road people just can't handle their drinks

   Shape makes it feel cramped n bit claustrophobic till get use to it. But everyone is friendly n welcoming. Good bar selection.

   I gave it 5 stars because it is nostalgic to me. It was my Dads pub in the 60s, I seem to recall it was his second home. The first time I went in was my last day in school at Bishop Greer on Taylor st. I was promptly marched out. My last visit was in the 80s whilst on leave from the Army. I love the Vulcan but the locals used to call it "The Monkey".
