Under new managment for the food. It's wonderful food, I've just had the best pie I've ever had there today, I had the steak and ale, followed by strawberry cheese cake, both perfect. Staff are great too. I can not recomend this enough, just leave room for me please? I've just had the pleasure of eating here again, Stroganoff and it was perfection. Thank you Chef... When ever I'm back to the UK I look forward to the food. Stopped at Henighans last night to meet friends for a bite to eat. The pub menu was great, food was fantastic coupled with fast cheerful service. Definitely worth a visit if close. Try the steak n ale pie!
This place is a hidden gem! Warm atmosphere, lovely people and the food is incredible! Every single thing my friends and I tried was delicious! If you are a meat eater, do yourself a favor and try the 12 hour braised ox cheeks - WOW!!! Exquisite! (I had to take a picture, but it doesn't do the taste justice!!!) The steak burger is flavorsome and the portion is very generous! The triple-cooked hand-cut chips are AMAZING! We were a party of 5 with 2 vegans and they were very satisfied too, it was a perfect evening, absolutely will return!
Once again, amazing food and great staff. I had the pork, mustard mash, crumb coated black pudding and it was just stunning. Hats off to the chef! My daughter loved her hamburger and crunchy chips.
The fact myself and my partner have been back a couple times a week and taken all our friend's since we found this little gem a month ago says it all. The food is fantastic and the staff from the moment you arrive make you feel at home. Can't recommend enough!
