Known about this place for years but only visited on Saturday for some reason. Will have to return. Great selection of beers for all in a cosy setting downstairs or more space upstairs.
Really nice place with a great selection of beers. The vibe is relaxed and friendly, and the staff are helpful if you’re not sure what to try. Loved the atmosphere and the artwork inside. A perfect spot to enjoy a pint in Manchester.
I just love this place. Pomona Island House IPA is my favourite pint in Manchester!!! Always go here to start my night!!!
Port Street Beer House opened in early 2011 and was the first of modern beer bars in the Northern Quarter, transforming a backstreet retail space into a vibrant pub. Outdoor seating at the front and a beer garden at the rear, with more seating on the first floor. The only downside is that the toilets are upstairs, which can create problems if you are disabled. Manchester illustrator David Bailey’s large cartoon mural on the exterior and framed prints inside add to the character of the pub. A great selection of draught and keg beers from 4% pale ales to 11% imperial stouts. When I visited, there was a 20% cask beer discount from noon to 4 PM, Monday to Friday.
The original Manchester craft beer bar. It's a fantastic place for any beer lover. They've been serving the best selection of locally and imported beer for years. The staff are always brilliant and very patient while I spend way too long choosing my pint. Thank you for another lovely visit.
