   Terrible at bicycle repairs. I've had to use this place twice for bike repairs, both times they did a shoddy job and another bike shop had to fix their work for me. The first time two of my gears were constantly cracking to the point of being unusable. I bring it in for a service and specifically mention those two gears cracking as the main problem I need fixed. They take my money, but when I get my bike back immediately I can feel those gears are still cracking as bad as before. I bring it back and get fobbed off with "oh yeah I looked at them but they need special parts from the manufacturer that we don't have", but they still took my money and didn't even mention that they didn't fix the main problem I mentioned? The second was a simple puncture repair, I'd ridden over some glass on my rear tire causing a slow puncture that went flat a few days later. I brought it in for repair and then a few days later the tire was flat again. I complain and ask for a refund and the area manager gives me the run around and insists I must've had a second puncture... So he's saying that in the two years of having these very expensive tires with no punctures that I punctured the same tire a second time within a few days of their repair. And they refused to refund me. Absolute shoddy service, a side note that when I put my complaint in email I was asked to call back the area manager, when I did he wasn't in and my call got passed around between 3 people in the shop who all seemed incredulous and irritated that a customer call was being given to them before telling me to wait for the area manager to call me again.

   Never take my bike anywhere else. They are the best. Never rip you off, always honest. Great service overall. Nothing is ever too much. So friendly and warm. The best place to take your bike. They also fitted a car battery for me too which again was faultless. These guys are trustworthy and the work I’ve had done has always been perfect!

   I have always used Wilco Swinton for my tyres on my car and I’ve normally always had a very pleasant experience. This time trying to book has been a very unpleasant experience though. I tried to ring yesterday and got no answer so I sent a message through the online platform. I received an email back and I replied to ask for it to be booked in but I haven’t had a response to my email so I have just tried to ring the shop to confirm the booking. I have just rang numerous times and each time they picked it up listened to me say hello a few times and then put it down. I just find that a bit rude if they are busy if they just said could you ring back then fine but to do that was not nice at all. I can’t confirm my booking so I will have to go elsewhere now and to be honest I don’t think I want to go there now if that’s how they would treat a customer. Really disappointed though as I’ve always had such a good experience here so it’s a shame thank you Leanne In response to the below reply I did receive an email to say the shop said it was a dead line on the 6 times I rang I just found that a bit strange because I could hear the shop noise in the background. When I rang they didn’t say the shop name etc when they answered so I checked the number on the web site it was correct so I rang back and each time it was answered I could hear the shop noise but no one said anything. I would say hello a few times and then they would put it down. I thought if it was a deadline I wouldn’t be able to hear the noise from the shop. Thank you anyway for your response and I hope you manage to get the phones back up and running soon thank you

   Shame I can’t give no stars! My lovely Dad has Parkinson’s disease and is now unable to drive so he bought an electric bike to get around. When it became faulty we brought it here for repair (where my Dad originally bought the bike from). After months of being promised call back after call back (that never came) my Dad was told ‘oh, that bike that’s stuck in the corner? Been here ages, no idea what’s happening with it’! I’ve just rang to speak to Daryl (the manager) who says the guy I need to speak to isn’t in (a regular comment whenever I ring only now the guys name has changed!), I expressed my disappointment and described the false promises I’ve been given. I said I’m not prepared to wait any longer and will collect the bike, I FINALLY received a ‘sorry about that’. I very rarely give bad reviews, everyone is busy/has supply issues but I am so upset for my lovely Dad and good communication costs nothing.

   I have been on and off coming here to buy what are very reasonably priced products. But really they deserve 5 stars for the service, fixed my tyre in a very short time, didn't mind me lingering. Got it done and back on the road. Honest service, quick service, excellent service. I highly recommend it.
