Not been here for over 20 years. Still as good a pint as I remember it. Still a few of the regulars going in from that period and sadly some are no longer with us. Will be back again but won't be 20 years.

Giving it 5 stars. I haven't been in. I've been dry for 6 years after 15 years of home based alcoholism. Prior to that I did go in and it was a great boozer. Very well kept Holts ales. I hope it's still as good. This is what happens when you drive by something Google has tagged as a target.

  3. Alan Faulkner ★★★★★

  2. george smith ★★★☆☆

Use to be one of the cheapest pubs in Tyldesley now one of the dearest prices just gone up again, still a good pint though but cheaper else were

  3. Paul Harris ★★★★☆

Good pint of Holts ale and generally a nice family pub. Sky sports, friendly locals and cheap beer. Describes itself as dog friendly but it's only in the vault. Highly recommended.
