Arrived 30min. before closing time to have them check my car, because it made a noise. To my delight they were able to fix it straight away and on top of that I wasn’t charged a penny. I have been a customer for many years and usually found them very friendly and helpful. I have already recommended them to my colleagues.

Came for an MOT, booked it online 2 days prior on Saturday and found some availability for Monday. Parking was a bit chaotic around the garage but the staff was friendly and helpful when I asked where I should park, and the person at reception was also nice and friendly. MOT was done within 2 hours and I got my car back,

When this place used to be National Tyres, it was great! However, since being taken over by Halfords, customer service is now awful! I was overcharged £300 for 4 tyres compared to Halfords' own online price. I went back the next day to check why their prices were so different to their online price and the young lad behind the counter became aggressive and said it was the price of convenience. Avoid at all costs and use Kwik-Fitt down the road (200 meters away) they price match their in store price to their online price (depending which is cheaper), exact same tyres are cheaper too and the staff are way friendlier!
The guys had a challang day when my car was booked for an MOT. They looked after an elderly gentlmen who had a fall one of the mechanics took to hospital. They were one man down and still made sure every car was seen to. I was given a discount because I had to wait which they really didnt have to do. I would highly recommended this garage...
My vehicle was booked into the Sale branch for 2 tyres and wheel alignment for 8.30am. Drop it off and they say 'Wait for us to call you'. 10mins later they ring me 'We can't do the wheel alignment as we don't have any gauges'. It then takes them 1hr 45mins just to change 2 tyres. You book it in at a certain time and they couldn't care less. They didn't even bother ringing me when it was done. I ring customer services who book it in for 2pm at Northenden and these muppets have the vehicle for 3hrs and still don't get it done. I've wasted a whole day and fuel driving around and waiting for these useless muppets.
