I’ve just ordered off the kids menu for my 2 daughters fish, chips and small sausage. Greasy as hell please avoid. I wrote a review last year and nothing has changed should be shut down !!!! I wonder what they have to say for themselves because they never reply to my reviews
I recently visited Ocean takeaway Chester to try their famous fish and chips, and I must say it was an outstanding experience! The fish tasted incredibly fresh and was cooked to perfection. The portion size was generous and left me feeling satisfied. Compared to other places I've tried, they surpassed my expectations in terms of taste and quality. I highly recommend everyone to give it a try, as it truly offers the best fish and chips in town.
I recently tried the Singapore fried rice at Oceans and I have to say it was absolutely delicious! The rice was cooked to perfection, with each grain separate and fluffy. The seasoning was just right - not too overpowering but full of flavor. The dish was also generously portioned, making it great value for money. I would highly recommend this fried rice to anyone looking for a satisfying and tasty meal. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Worst fish and chips I have ever eaten. Really greasy, chips awful . Should have realised as there was no one in there, whilst another takeaway had a queue outside. Cash only, which was another problem.
Just awful enough said. Fish and chips the worst Chester. they claim they get the supplier for the fish n chips is the same as the western grove chippy really pull the other one !
Terrible food inauthentic greasy and expensive. I ordered the spicy special chow mien chips and curry sauce. I got a couple of slabs of warmed up dry chicken and pork egg noodles and lots of chillies. It tasted of nothing. The chips were warm ups and covered in grease! £13.50! Worst takeaway I’ve ever had. Avoid this place
Excellent place to get a meal, never had a bad meal yet ,the salt and pepper box is very tasty lots of different meat just the right amount of spice easily shareable , always ready when you arrive after telephone order
Hidden gem in Chester. The prices are good, food very tasty, and portions are large. Everything is cooked fresh, and they will add or remove things (e.g. no peas please!) as you like it. The chef always cooks the food to perfection. Staff know lots of the longstanding customers by name and can often anticipate what they will order. You can also call ahead and order your food and then pay and collect a few minutes later.
