Had two new front tyres replaced, staff were polite, cheerful and skilled. Took the time to walk me through the weights for tyre balancing and inflated all other tyres out of courtesy. Quick and easy. Would recommend.

These guys were great. They point out all the faults in your vehicle even the smallest ones even a bolt or a missing screw. You go away knowing everything. No doubt in the back of your mind. I wish I could use them more often. They are a relief from all those corner '5 star' mechanics who miss out very very basic information. They don't mess about and are wonderful people. Professionals to the T and want people to keep driving German cars.

Needed urgent work done on my skoda octavia VRS, as I was due to travel within a week. They not only fitted me in but went out of the way to fully accommodate me, picked up and dropped off within a 2 days. Fixed several issues the diagnostics had picked up and came back spic and span. They came highly recommended and I to can't them recommend enough. Thanks again Volksmaster!

I wasn’t going to write a review but I’ve had a text asking so I’ll be honest. I’ve used volksmaster for the past 3 years or so and never had great experiences. Firstly on my first mot they put an advisory on for a rear number plate light out. And quoted me over £600 to fix it as they said the fitting was broken and it comes as a whole unit and needs to be paint matched to the van. I told them to leave it, went home and found the part for £35, but before fitting it I took it apart and the light was unplugged at the back, so it cost me nothing to fix! I asked them about it and they said the guy who did my mot didn’t want to take it apart incase he broke it (from a German specialist) but they would take it apart to replace it for £600. I brushed this off as a mistake, we’re all Human, it happens. Next service they told me a needed a full re-gas on my aircon, I can’t remember the cost but I told them to leave it as it’s been working fine (we’re 2-3 years on and it’s still fine) again I brushed it off maybe it’s just following a schedule. March of this yeah I had my mot, it passed all good, they said come and pick the van up whenever. A few months later I’ve got a really strong smell coming from under the bonnet along with smoke. I called them and told them, they said “it’s probably the crank seal that was leaking on you MOT did you not get it fixed?” Well no I didn’t becuase nobody told me. So I booked in to have it fixed along with timing belt and water pump at a cost of nearly £1100. I waited all day Friday for a call to pick up the van, at 4:30 I called to see if I could head down, they said no we’re going to keep the van until Monday to make sure it’s not still leaking. This is no issue but nobody informed me I was wasting my time waiting and I wouldn’t have the van for the weekend. Now two weeks later I’m still getting the burning oil smell so I booked it in just to check it hadn’t started leaking again. They had no idea what they were supposed to be checking and tried to charge me £78 to clean my aircon system (which is fine the smell is definitely outside the van) and charge me £99 for checking over the van! I don’t expect anyone to work for free but when the symptoms of an issue you’ve paid £1100 to fix are still present, I would of though that to quickly check there wasn’t an issue surely shouldn’t of been charged? They knocked it down to £60 as a gesture of good will when I asked about it. Which still stings but I paid it and won’t be back again this was the final straw.

I don’t post negative reviews. So, 5 stars for very evident professionalism at O/m Tyre & Exhaust. But in this latest transaction for a solitary replacement tyre for a near side front tyre kerbed by myself which occasioned a tear in its sidewall down to its carcass, and ceaseless tyre pressure warnings. I ordered an Accelera tyre to match the set. They acquired one for me but then found out the wrong size had been sent. There followed a weekend intermission. On the Monday, everything went swimmingly and the day after my car car passed its MoT again. It was only today I noticed the new tyre was not an Accelera but something called a Delinte - or thereabouts. It wasn’t expensive. But, y’know - little things add-up?

Very good garage. All staff are very friendly. Used the services of this garage so many times over the course of eight years and never wished. They always try to quickly identify the problem in the car and fix it. Service prices are reasonable, depending on the scope of work. If it was possible to put ten stars, then I did it without a doubt. Much respect to all staff.

Absolutely fantastic. Couldn’t recommend higher. Was told by several garages I needed a new engine in my Mini. They run a diagnostic test which said otherwise, saved me a lot of money. Also taken the car back for service and MOT. Thank you so much.
