First time using for MOT. Didn't honour appointment time. Nit picked to fail. Looked like it hadn't been properly tested after picking car up. Avoid at all costs.
Recently decided to use a local garage after always taking my cars back to the dealer. Tried Fairway and it’s the best move I could have made. Staff very nice to deal with, helpful, efficient and very satisfactory work carried out on my car. I will certainly be staying with them from now.
They are obviosly very busy and dont need the work, so do them a favour and go somewhere else. I used this garage for 20 years, never again. Since the new owner took over the garage a few years ago it has got progressively more expensive, the time taken to do work has also got longer each time (sometimes up to a week). Appointments are re-arranged, and the last one was cancelled on the day. I can never say the quality of the work was bad - but the attitude you get when you go there certainly is. They have no problem at all with inconveniencing you, so dont give them the chance.
Was passing through Glossop and pulled in as heard scraping from my wheel, it was 4:45 and 3 hours from home. The guys dropped what they were doing to sort my wheel out in minutes. I would've been stuck without them, massive help and great service
Shockingly poor customer service! Took my car in for MOT on Friday, was told it’ll be ready for collection on Tuesday. No update from the garage whatsoever, had to call everyday asking when I will get my car back, couldn’t get an answer. Was left without a car for a week and charged £105/h for labour. Also, £75 charged for tracking. Do not recommend!!
Van needed a new Alternator the price they quoted was completely astronomical. Took it to another garage down the road for half the price. I really hate it when garages try and rip people of there should be a law against it.
Amazing service as always! Nothing is ever too much bother. My car was dead on the drive, Fairways came and picked it up and got it going to do the MOT. Abbie is lovely, always friendly and very helpful. Absolutely fantastic guys! I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else. Top service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Can’t recommend these guys enough. Had an emergency coolant issue, these guys not only helped me as much as possible they even got my recovery sorted £200 less than the AA wanted to charge me. Really really nice welcoming staff!!! Professional and polite.
