Used this mechanic as he is local & I like to support local businesses however, Unfortunately I cannot recommend rhis mechanic as I feel he is over charging for his services , was not helpful helping with part number etc and was going to over charge to fit the part . After getting advice from another garage a reputable one ! who were helpful, they did not charge me to look at the car and tell me the fault , they gave me the part number required and helped me source the part needed all at no cost ! As you woman on a low income who was seeking advice and help with her car , I feel it’s important to not be taken advantage of unfortunately I feel this was not the case when Hamid looked at my car . My reason for the review to inform others that there are helpful friendly garages out there more than happy to help unlike some people who just want to take your money and do nothing ! In other words lazy and unhelpful
I was so impressed with Hamid , right from the first contact he was very helpful and responsive. Having returned from working in India I thought my battery had died, but turned out my alternator and belt needed replacing. Hamid was quick to identify the issue , told me where to buy parts . Once they had been delivered he came the very next day having already given me labour quote. He was punctual, professional and focussed and completed the job within the hours he had predicted. I really liked the straightforwardness of communication, his clarity and honesty. He is also friendly and respectful. I would definitely work with him again

What a fantastic service provided. Good communication and arrived on time. Changed the alternator in a couple of hours. Very informative about different aspects of my motorhome and gave good advice on future upgrades to it. Excellent price. Highly recommended and will certainly be the first to call on if needed again.

Having tried my usual mechanic, he couldn’t diagnose the issue, although this isn’t his expertise. Electrics on a French car can be problematic. Having looked around locally I decided to try this mobile service. Having requested an appointment late the night before, I quickly received an appointment for the very next morning, he arrived on time. After a quick chat with the information I had, he quickly got to work. I was un sure if the problem could be fixed, after 40 minutes, the issue hadn’t been resolved. After further 10 minutes the problem had been resolved, I was very happy. All lights working as they should be and now can pass it’s MOT. Extremely happy, I am sure H.R Mechanics would have pursued the problem until it had been fixed. Many thanks and would recommend to others.
Investigated and diagnosed engine faults and electrical faults. Extremely thorough and informative, and friendly. Great price and got us back on the road and was also really helpful with a follow up question a week later. Would highly recommend.
Very quick and friendly repair of electrics problem, AA couldn’t find it but he fixed it in half an hour. Kind and clear explanation of what was wrong and how to fix it myself next time! Strongly recommend.
