I went today to donate approx 6 bags of very good items, some with labels on and I could have resold on Vinted anyway I won’t go into the whole story but the member of staff was incredibly rude and absolutely no need for her attitude I was polite, so I took my bags back and dropped them at the shop right next door , to some very polite and staff!! Kindness goes a long way!

Just what has happened to the prices here? I donate and use this shop a lot due to my stretched budget and have had only remedial service from this particular place compared to others. Donated carry bags being resold for 50p and prices for general and bric a brac prices through the roof. My idea of a good charity shop should work for both sides. Money raised given to charity and low prices so people on a stretched living amount can afford the items offered . This way this shop will sell nothing, negating the whole reason why these shops exist. I was even asked at the till having bought an item, if I wanted to round up to the next pound and give it to the shop. Charity means cheek and I agree to this, up to a limit. I was embarrassed to say no so they kept the change. Not very customer focused. Sorry

I like that they put their books and cds out at the front. Most places don't do that. Easy to get about around the shop too thanks to the layout.
