   The pick up was for a holiday. The driver on seeing the case got out and lifted the case into the back. On arrival at our coach he again got out and place the case on the kerb. Well worth the £1 odd tip.

   Used Diamond many times per year for the last few years on airport runs and never had an issue. Always book in advance and confirm the prices. Last week to the airport, no problems at all, on time and price as quoted. (I always tip too) on coming back I'd paid and approached my home the cab driver was telling me I hadn't paid enough, ( adding more than 5.00 onto the regular quote price) I said I had plus tip as I had done the same the week earlier and know the prices he wasn't budging and said it depended on the company royal, street cars etc, .I pointed out diamond on his car as was the week earlier. After a long day travelling I just paid plus tip so almost 10 pounds extra than quote. I should have rang the office there and then. Which I did the following day, office confirmed I was correct, they would find out who the driver was and have a word., plus I'd get a call back. 3 days later no call back, just be aware some drivers are chancers! A shame as never had any problems previously, bad staff cause the bad feeling and taint company reputations

   Brilliant service. Easy to use app for pre booking or for a taxi there and then. A text is sent with the make and reg number of your taxi so no worries about if its the right cab! Very reasonable price too. Would highly recommend Number 1 Diamond Taxis!

   Booked ahead for a mid week, city centre evening pickup early December. Taxi turned up right on time. When calling to confirm taxi is on the way, they operate an automated service that answers straightaway and tells you how many minutes away the taxi is when you call which is really reassuring. Driver was very friendly and good. Recommended.

   I can verify this review as I used it last night. My friend and I got the taxi home from the Old Boars Head. My friend was dropped off first and the taxi driver without being asked, waited untill she was safely inside. Then did the same with me even though I had to wait for someone to open the door as I forgot my key. His Mother should be proud of him. If I had daughters I'd feel they'd be safe with him and I'd hope my son's would behave the same way. Top of the class!
