Would not recommend, rude staff and incompetent. Waited days for a tyre only for it to have not been ordered then had to book an appointment weeks ahead to get 1 tyre changed. When that did happen it took 3 people. Other places are much more helpful.
Had my car MOT'd here a couple of times, and tyres replaced. Reasonable cost if you keep an eye out on offers on their website. Folks always pleasant and helpful.
All staff really helpful and polite, great service, fixed a longstanding issue that VW and Kwik fit couldn't. Will definitely be back.
Ordered and paid for tires last week then got a phone call 30 before the booking informing me they hadn't ordered them. Now waiting 3-5 days to get my money back. First and last time I use ATS they aren't worth the small cost saving.
I would recommend this branch due to thier 'honesty.' Previously I had a new set of tyres fitted and literally on the way back was blind-sided by a Tesla (I didn't hear it coming!) which led to the vehicle being written off. Buying a 2nd hand like-for-like car I asked this branch whether it would be worth my while swapping the tyres and even through they would have won business, they said for me it wouldn't be worth the cost of changing. Today I went in with a wheel balance issue and they sorted it and didn't charge me given that my last set of tyres was from them. Much more trustworthy than Kwik fit in Wilmslow!
Went twice in 3 days, needed tyres on mine and wife’s car. Both times the customer service was brilliant. Polite and keep you up to date on progress, what more can you ask! Used Blackcircles as broker, these guys were listed as fitting centre. 10/10 - highly recommend!
The team at Altrincham ATS have always been fantastic with our cars. They never try to push extra work that doesn't need to be done. They've always been upfront and honest with us. Never hesitate to recommend them. They are a busy branch, for good reason, people trust them and keep coming back!
They do cheap car MOT'S here, but make their money by being extremely picky on minor petty faults in order to fail it, then ask exorbitant prices for repairs. Was quoted £42 for 2 new wiper blades (l bought my own Bosch ones for £20) and £32 to adjust the headlamp beam, which takes 10 seconds to adjust yourself using a plastic knob on the dashboard. More importantly, they missed the fact that a rear tyre had a potentially dangerous nail embedded in it. In summary, l won't be going again and would advise others to avoid.
Do not under any circumstances use this branch of ATS. If it were possible I would not give this business any stars whatsoever! Having arranged for four new tyres to be fitted through Black Circles, ATS damaged all four of my wheels during the fitting process (see attached photographs) necessitating the refurbishment of all four wheels which Black Circles have arranged. One of the wheels looks as if it has been dropped on the rim after the tyre has been removed. During the replacement process, it also appears that they have damaged one of the tyre pressure monitors which we have been unable to reset satisfactorily The wheel specialist today advised that the sensor was in bits within the wheel. This garage takes no pride whatsoever in their work!
