   I highly recommend Duffy Motors. They did my MOT recently, and they were fantastic to work with. My MOT initially failed because of an incident earlier in the year that's taking a long time for the insurance company to sort out. They managed to do a temporary fix in order to pass the MOT and keep me on the road, which is really important as I rely on my vehicle as a wheelchair user. Whilst the insurance company do the permanent fix. It's really great to have a local garage nearby that provides a high quality service, and I'll definitely be returning when I need my car serviced and maintained.

   Women be warned! Dropped my car off, a 09 Suzuki Alto having no power. I was told the clutch had gone and needed replacing quoted £1200 plus VAT. By any standards that is a ridiculous quote for a replacement clutch. When I went to pay for the diagnostic check I was told ' the car had 'had it' anyway. But they were willing to do work on a car that they believed wasn't worth it? That's not what he told me over the phone. He was quite willing to let me pay £1200 - £1440 with VAT The receptionist said we're not trying to rip you off. I said I think that's exactly what you're trying to do. They saw a young woman and thought they could make what they could. Avoid.

   I couldn’t recommend any other garage more than this one! I brought my bmw 3 series in with a really bad power/misfire issue after calling up the afternoon before, they diagnosed and fixed it within 3 hours, they was so honest about what the issue was and the price was so much cheaper than what I thought I’ll be paying. I came here based on the good reviews on their honesty, and it’s hard to trust any sort of car mechanics/garage. I was over the moon my car was fixed so fast and so cheap. If you’re looking for a trustworthy garage that doesn't overcharge then I couldn’t recommend these enough. Thank you once again

   I broke down in Manchester City Centre last week and had a nightmare with my breakdown cover. I'm not from Manchester so needed to find a garage I could trust in the city centre solely relying on Google reviews. I came across Duffy Motors, read their reviews and thought - okay, this has to be the one. Honestly they have gone above and beyond in terms of being a trustworthy, friendly and transparent garage. After looking at my vehicle they didn't trail through a million things wrong with it and slap me with a huge bill. They inspected the vehicle, rang me and told me in huge detail exactly what was wrong with it and were very honest in saying that the cost of the repairs would far exceed the worth of the car. They were then so helpful to me when I was struggling to recover the vehicle. Everyone there is so friendly and make you feel safe in their hands, as taking your car to an unknown garage can be quite nerve wracking. I can't thank you enough for all the help you gave me!! I would recommend Duffy motors to anyone.

   Russell was very professional, friendly and helpful. I dropped my car in a day after calling up and the repair was completed on the day. After diagnosing the issue, they replaced the clutch on the alternator which was ceased. They also replaced the belt free of charge during the repair as this was apparently still squeaking after the work was completed. After some bad experiences around Manchester these are definitely a garage you can trust! Although not the cheapest (expected given city centre location) they are still very reasonable and I would highly recommend.
