First time I used them they didn’t turn up. I gave them another chance and they took the amount quoted and extra even though there was no traffic, no waiting and no stops. I don’t trust this firm and won’t use them again. Uber only from now on.
Easy to book, arrived 3 mins before expected time. Kept informed by text the make and regd no. Of the vehicle. The driver was well dressed, extremely courteous and a good safe driver
I booked a taxi at 07.47 and was told on the call that it was on the way. I called back at 08.08 as it had been 20 minutes and the taxi hadn’t arrived to be told that a driver hadn’t been assigned because there were no drivers in the area. I cancelled the taxi at 08.33 because it still hadn’t shown up. The excuse that there are no drivers in the area is ridiculous cars are mobile they can move from one area to another. Moving from one place to another is sort of your entire business
Can't fault the drivers but my last 3 journeys been charged a waiting time - journey today estimate was £11.60 , on receipt £12.50, but you charged me £16.10, why is there a waiting time cost I was waiting on the driver to appear he even stated that and this isn't the first journey you have done this on I've emailed and had no response to date regarding 2 others journeys of which I attached the invoice I don't like having the mickey taken out me and driver stated waiting time shows on the journey set by you guys.
Utterly dreadful. Booked a taxi to take me to the airport at 0430 more than 48 hours in advance. The app told me the driver would be 20 minutes late and then kept switching drivers. I called the office and was told "it's because it's the early hours of the morning" Entirely unacceptable. Caused me a lot of stress. Thankfully Uber were able to pick us up within five minutes. Have deleted the app. Will never use Clubcars again.

I would just like to recommend local cars in Urmston One driver in particular the young man who has the white electric car You will always recognise him because of his red hair A lovely pleasant young man I wish all the drivers were as pleasant as him⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very bad service,so dissapointed. Booked taxi's for 5 working days to dropp off and pick up my kids to and from school,as had very urgent situation. Been aware that on the way are traffic and delays and due this reason,booked them with 20 minutes advance. All started yesterday and they are each time late above 20 minutes,up to half and hr. If you really need taxi on time orr when booked in advance please be aware qit this company you'll be late. Supper dissapointed
Fabulous local taxi firm. Great personal customer service when you ring up. Reliable, friendly and professional drivers. We have used this taxi firm regularly from the beginning and have never been let down! Thank you to all the team at Local Cars.
We needed a taxi at 3.45am on Sunday morning. Our usual firm said " ring back after tea on Saturday and we should know if we have a driver available" - this from a supposed 24 hour service. A friend suggested Local Cars and when I phoned them a very helpful receptionist said there would be no problem. On Sunday morning (middle of the night) we received a text to say taxi had been dispatched and another to day it had arrived with details of car and driver. He arrived at 3.45am on the dot and he was lovely. More than happy to say goodbye to our old cab firm and use Local Cars in future- well done to you
