   I'm not usually one to post reviews, but this has been on my mind for a while, so I feel it's worth sharing. Mike is a genuine mechanic and a real credit to the business – honest, reliable, and someone you can trust. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about Rob. In my experience, he doesn’t play by the rules and can be very sneaky – trying to charge for parts that aren’t needed by claiming there are faults with the car. It’s disappointing, as this kind of behaviour risks damaging the reputation of the whole business. My advice: stick to Mike if you can, or consider going elsewhere.

   Daughter took her car here, the quoted her an amount to fix it which she agreed to. Lies repeatedly about when it would be ready and repeatedly said wrong part sent. When she was finally told it was ready they told her that they had stripped the thread off a bolt and had had to sort it and charged her £120 extra for their time and told her that they were doing her a favour by not charging her more!! Avoid this garage at all costs, they will charge you for work you didn’t agree to, charge you for their mistakes and will rip you off left right and centre. AVOID AVOID AVOID

   I would give zero stars if I could, wasn't going to write this review but it needs to be said. I had a fiat punto that had broken down, rac recommended them so I went there, my car was there for 5 months, with no progress, I was only ever "updated" on the lack of progress when I myself called up, but was never contacted by the garage off their own back. I was consistently given false hope and told days I should get the car back by. One time, I was even told it was fixed, then when I went there, the car was the exact same as the day I took it there 3-4 months prior. I eventually gave up and scrapped the car, as I felt there was no other option, if they couldn't fix it, I'd have rather they just said instead of leading me to believe there was hope. Wouldn't use this garage again if it was the only one within 100 miles.

   Do not go to this Garage!! My car went in for a repair in the engine and it took them over a month making me pay for different things without my approval and when it was supposedly finished and working, that same night it broke down again with a completely different major problem, after 3 or 4 times of them looking at it and after countless lies it still wasn’t right and after asking around about said garage I found out I’m not the only one who’s had a bad experience, personally I don’t think this garage deserves their RAC status. Very strange people.

   Brilliant service. Taken there by RAC who delivered my vehicle late on Friday despite promising in the morning, they pulled out all the stops and worked late to replace my alternator so I could get home. Excellent price too. Can't praise them highly enough. Thank you.

   I have used this garage 3 times. I broke down and they collected me the first time.I have always found the service excellent. They have been honest, value for money and very polite when dealing with me. I would definitely recommend this garage.
