   Staff were rude. Man on the phone had no etiquette and was clearly not trained. Food was cold and bland. Half of it was stale. Called up and was told not to call again because they can't do anything. AVOID CHUNGS HESTON!!!!! Severe stomach aches the day after. Do not cook chicken properly and batter for fried items soggy. Bring the old management back because the new ones clearly do not know how to operate.

   Bought chicken chow mein and veg spring rolls over the phone last time I had this from here was over 10yrs ago thought I would give it a go again and was really disappointed and dismayed when reading the recent reviews. However did it anyway and was amazed, )NB only ordered the above ) it was amazing tasted exactly as I remembered. Brilliant and amazing, no “ slimy or aftertaste! It was great.have since ordered chicken chow mein again from here a second and third time and asked if they could make it spicer by adding some chilli. Normally most restaurants just add a teaspoon or two of chilli oil! On receipt of my dish they had actually added plenty of fresh cut green chilli as well as a small pot of chilli oil. Great , amazing so impressed that they had made an effort rather than just dolloping standard chilli oil in it

   Apparently this is a plain chow mein. No it isn't. It's dry noodles!!! For £6? Sorry but that is a joke!! Every other Chinese takes the meat out, chungs takes out everything else too lol and fries you up some noodles with nothing else. You USED to be the best in hounslow, when did you start using the smallest possible take away pots aswell

   I have been using Chungs for so many years, through their highs and lows of which there have been many. Loyalty should amount to something. This time they sent meat into our home that I poured onto our plates, only realised in time before eating it. Absolutely sickened, threw all of our dinner immediately in the bin. Their lack of understanding was shocking. They wanted the food out of my bin to give me a full refund, disgusted. Never really commented on line, but felt the need to. Be cautious, and all the reviews are true, they rarely listen carefully when giving your order.

   Awful, Awful, Awful!!! Chungs used to be the best chinese restaurant in Hounslow, however it has gone through a change for the worse! Stay Away!! I believe it has new owners and the food is the worst I've tasted. I collected my order yesterday and spent £21, however the free prawn crackers that I always get were missing, when I asked where were the customary free prawn crackers, the lady said that I would have to spend over £25 to get the free crackers!!!! The dumplings have been reduced from 8 to 6 portions and the onion sauce it comes with is too sweet, the chow mein noodles were dry and tasteless, the prawn balls in batter (which used to be my favorite) were dry and too doughy, never again!! Beef in Black Bean Sauce was awful and tasted better elsewhere. Summary- Tight with portions, use cheap ingredients and tasteless food. Go Elsewhere!!
