   Unfortunately never got to actually experience any treatment at this dentist so unable to comment on that. I signed up to a waiting list to register as an NHS patient and waited for months before receiving a call to advise that they could now register me and took all of my details over the phone - I have been trying to get registered at an NHS dentist for years now so this was a huge weight off of my shoulders. I was surprised when I tried to book an appointment to get my wisdom tooth removed upon the urgent advice of my GP (I am 6 months pregnant and in a lot of pain/discomfort - my GP advised that there is a good chance my wisdom tooth is infected which could potentially harm my unborn baby), to be told that I was registered as a private patient and that they can only offer me NHS appointments on Thursdays or Fridays. Firstly, I never agreed to be registered as a private patient as I’m not willing to pay private fees when I also pay taxes. I also work full time and only have one day off which is Mondays so I guess I’ll just never be able to attend a dentist appointment unless I use up my annual leave. I realise this is a systemic issue and not isolated to this dentist but I was told by First Dental that I was registered as an NHS patient and so would have expected to be treated as such, not told that they can ‘book me in in the NHS whilst you are pregnant’ and then given an option of only 2 days, both of which are during the working week. I also thought that, given the circumstances, they would have been a little more accommodating. I have asked them to remove me as patient as appointment availability only being 2 days a week is of no use to me whatsoever, it’s very disheartening that I’m now back to square one and not registered at a dentist when I’m in urgent need of dental care.

   Came in today for a root canal treatment and I can honestly say the dentist and assistant that conducted my treatment were absolutely amazing. Dentist knew exactly what he was doing and very professional I had no pain at all throughout the whole treatment. And even had a bit of a laugh and a joke during. I can not recommend this place enough and the dentist I saw today absolutely top tier hands down the best dentist I have ever had.

   Amazing service. Received an emergency appointment within 24 hours really helpful and understanding service from Ria on Reception. I was seen in time. Olivia met me and was really friendly and jolly. Dr. Mughees is one of the best dentists I have had, she was really lovely put me at ease and was very patient to get my filling feeling perfect with my bite. Such a wonderful professional but really friendly experience. Ria greeted me from start to finish with such a lovely understanding manner. Thank you so much for looking after me today.

   I’ve been here twice to see Oliver now after leaving my old practice. What a difference this place is, efficient, caring, honest. On the first visit Oliver spotted an issue caused by my old practice. Made a new appointment and it was all sorted a few weeks later.    I recently had an urgent need to find a Dentist who would undertake a Domiciliary home visit to my mum of 96 years. From the initial contact with First Dental Care they were extremely helpful, polite and understanding of the circumstances, providing me with a clear breakdown of costs beforehand. I was contacted earlier than the booked appointment date due to a cancellation and Dr Prasad was extremely compassionate and caring whilst undertaking the treatment required. First class service, Thank You !

3. A 24 ★☆☆☆☆

   Very rude receptionist. When you speak to them in person or on the phone they act as if you’ve interrupted their day. As if how dare you give the practice your business. Over the phone they have been having multiple conversations with other people and have forgotten how to say the word Thankyou. They don’t understand the words customer and service. Train your staff better or find new ones because your losing customers.

   Kathryn, very nervously, visited the Dentist twice recently to have a tooth removed and a bridge fitted. Dr Prasad was excellent, very caring, reassuring, patient & professional.    after your money they took over £2000 out of my savings. i wanted 1 thing and they said i needed another which didn't work. ive had to pay again for dentures which are the wrong type than i wanted. they even charged me for a sample pack of denture fixative. they have now suggested a new course of treatment for even more money. went to another dentist who checked my teeth free of charge and gave me a proper treatment plan.

   I've been with this dentist for over 20 years and I've never had any issues or complaints. In recent years I have struggled with anxiety and I always feel welcomed and calmed by the knowledge and professionalism of all the staff here. A special mention to Dr Lauren for explaining every step during a treatment to set my mind at ease. Cannot recommend enough.
