Had my first hygiene visit in a long time today. Don’t know why I left it so long. Dawn the hygienist was so lovely and very gentle, explained everything so well. Tilly the dental nurse was fab, talking to me and making me feel relaxed. Keep up the good work ladies will be booking in again for sure.
Had a lovely visit with my new dentist Doctor Ahmed. He’s calming and explained every single part of my treatment. Checking I was ok regularly. Considering I'm a very anxious patient he was welcoming and kept me calm. Leanne was also very caring as I had explained my anxieties and made me feel comfortable. I was so at ease I think I fell asleep. During my two fillings!!. A lovely surgery and welcoming staff. I’ve recommended my family and they have joined too. Sadly I have an issue with the reception area. I have one dislike about the waiting Room. The huge plastic screen between patient and receptionist means you cannot hear her and she cannot hear you. Resulting in shouting and that isn’t very discreet when you’re talking about finances so we moved to another room. That is my only complaint. Because everything else is amazing
Been with the practice for quite a few years and always have consistently good service. Moved a bit further afield last year but I’m not planning on changing at all as I think they do such a great job. Recently had a clean with dawn and Leanne and they were very efficient and my teeth came out looking and feeling so much better. Thanks for looking after my teeth!
I recently had an appointment with a new hygienist. The overall experience was pleasant, and I appreciated their professionalism and care. The cleaning was good, though I did notice it wasn’t quite at the same level of thoroughness I was used to with my previous hygienist. I understand that everyone has their own approach, and I’m hopeful that with future visits, we’ll build a stronger experience and will continue to improve. Looking forward to my next appointment. I highly recommend this dentist since the new team have taken over, me and my girls have been seen by Dr Ahmed and he has been wonderful very reassuring and kind even when I was very nervous about a wisdom tooth extraction which was quick and pain free

Went to long lane dental for my 6 month check up. I didn't mind the 30 min wait in the waiting room. My only grudge is I spent 3 mins in the dentist chair. The dentist looked in my mouth .. said yes all fine.. could do with a hygiene visit if haven't been for a while. Now forgive me if I am wrong but previous times I've been for check ups at the dentist.. they check each of the gum areas by the teeth and grade them 0 to 2 and the dental nurse makes a note. This usually takes about 8 to ten mins. As I said I spent 3 mins in the chair. The whole appointment took 5 mins. Then paid the fee of £23.40 or so. If you times that by 12 gives you an hourly rate of £280 or so. I think my check up was used to catch up with the waiting time as even i had a 30 min delay. A little frustrating I must say.
