Dear Abbas your balanced and honest review going completely ignored I feel to be completely unjust.Interestingly my personal experience has by completely the same, the coincidence being you and I are the only patients from an ethnic minority group. it would appear we are not worthy of even the most basic response. there are laws which prevent this pattern of discrimination from happening and as such has now been reported to the commission for racial equality as well as the Government minister for communities and the health minister..all of whom have confirmed their commitment to challenging discrimination of any kind, in my case sadly the only remaining catalyst for the discrimination I have been subjected to is my ethnicity impacting not only on my Dental health and but also my mental health.

I have been seeing Dr Mehr Karim for a while now, and every appointment has been consistently excellent. What really stands out is how much she prioritizes patient comfort. She always checks in, explains each step, and never rushes through anything. As someone who used to dread the dentist, I now feel completely at ease every time i visit. Shes also just a genuinely kind and thoughtful person, which makes a huge difference! Thank you Dr Mehr.

I’ve been with this practice for over 10 years, and for the most part, I’ve had a good experience. The hygienists do a great job cleaning my teeth, the receptionists are always friendly, and the environment is clean and welcoming. The reason for my 3-star review isn’t about the service I receive here now, but rather something more personal that I’ve carried for a long time. Many years ago, I had two healthy upper molars extracted as part of NHS orthodontic treatment. At the time, I was under 18 and felt pressured to act quickly before I’d have to pay privately. I wasn’t given any alternatives or made fully aware of the long-term, irreversible implications. I wasn’t experiencing overcrowding or major issues, and looking back, I wish the dentist or orthodontist had taken more time to assess the situation properly or guided me with a more conservative treatment plan. Now, years later, I live with the physical and emotional consequences of that decision. I have gaps where there were none before. My jaw sometimes clicks and used to not open fully post-braces. I often experience pain, and I suspect it’s because the upper row of my teeth has moved back, forcing my lower jaw out of alignment to compensate. I also clench and grind in my sleep, likely due to this imbalance, which only adds to the discomfort. It’s painful to live with something that feels like it could’ve been avoided. The regret affects my mental health — not just because of how my smile has changed, but because I feel like I lost something healthy and irreplaceable without truly understanding the risks. I’ve been told the only options now are more orthodontic work or retainers, which is difficult both financially and emotionally when trust has already been shaken. This isn’t an attack on the current practice or staff, everyone here has always been respectful and professional. I’m just sharing a deeply personal reflection in the hope that others, especially young patients, are encouraged to ask more questions and understand all their options before making decisions that can’t be undone. I hope one day I can fully come to terms with this and move forward without pain or regret. Until then, I just wanted to be honest about what I’ve experienced. It does make me sad At the time, I didn’t feel I had the power, information, or maturity to make a truly informed choice. The idea that this can’t be undone fuels anxiety and a sense of being trapped. Even though the decision wasn’t entirely mine, no one seems accountable now, and that creates a deep, lonely frustration. Clicking jaw, facial changes, and visible gaps, each is a daily reminder of what I feel was a mistake.

I've been a patient with the Willows Dental Practice for nine years, and it's always a positive experience. This is due to the receptionists, dental nurses and dentists all working together to provide a professional and confidence-inspiring environment where you can relax, place yourself in their hands, and feel assured you're going to be looked after. The staff at this practice are well versed in all things dentistry, and it shows through in their competence, from being greeted in reception to engaging with treatment, and any worries you may have of visiting a dentist are easily displaced. In regard to the practice property itself, it's a really nice building, very clean and very modern, and the reception area is lovely and peaceful while you wait for your appointment. As I mentioned, I've been with the practice as a patient for almost a decade and I haven't had a single bad experience, which is pretty amazing considering the staff are, after all, human yet consistently manage to provide a top-notch harmonious environment to have your teeth looked after year upon year upon year. The Willows dental practice is a dental oasis in a time where finding a good dental practice can prove difficult.

Polite and helpful staff, the dentists put 100% effort every time. The place is always spotlessly clean and has beautiful fresh flowers. They immediately notify patients of appointments and send reminders closer to the day.

I just wanted to say thank you to the whole team at The Willows. Thank you. Two small words but they mean so much. Since I was little I have been terrified of going to ‘the dentist’ (nothing to do with this team). However, The Willows have gone a long way to helping me overcome this. Just days ago I woke with awful toothache. Just days before Christmas. Not expecting to be able to get an appointment I phoned asking just for advice. The help, kindness and appointments were extraordinary from the whole team. So Smehna, your dental team and the reception team, thank you. I can’t tell you how grateful I am. Both for helping me overcome my irrational fear from an experience from childhood and of course for all your help as a wonderful dentistry team. You are all brilliant. I am always incredibly grateful but especially being seen so quickly so close to Christmas. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year. Two small but heart felt words: thank you.

Dentist very clear, helpful and friendly. Treatment room always spotless and hygienic. Reception however would definitely benefit from some customer service training and should ensure they speak to patients with respect!

The most lovely dentists - all the staff are incredibly friendly and kind. My daughter (who is not a fan of teeth cleaning or dentists!) has responded so well to the care of Haniyya and I really hope she stays at The Willows, as she's such a huge asset!

During a regular check-up my dentist noticed a lesion on my lip, took a look himself and referred me to a maxillofacial unit at Leighton Hospital. This needed surgically removing and thankfully all is now fine. Not only is he a very good dentist but he took the effort and time to refer me for additional treatment for which I'm extremely grateful. Can't recommend the practice highly enough for their all-round care and attention to detail.
