My second attempt at a private dentist and by far and away the best. The service and care are in my opinion second to none. The advice is always to do what is best for you. After fixing a badly chipped tooth and five crowns, two of which fixed my smile, I couldn't be happier. I used to hate going to the dentist, but not any longer. I can’t recommend the team at Grange Farm enough. As someone who is Dental Phobic, I’ve never been able to go to the dentist easily. I found Grange Farm when I was looking for a dentist who is supportive and see’s you as more than a number coming through the door. I feel so lucky to have found the practice and can’t thank Dr Challa and Ammu enough for taking the time help me receive treatment comfortably. Grange Farm has been the turning point for helping me grow in confidence with my dental care. For the first time ever, I feel empowered and more relaxed about getting support. Dr Challa takes time to explain and reassure about procedures and plans; nothing ever feels rushed and no question ever feels silly to ask. The team shares excitement with progress and makes you feel valued. I drive over an hour to get to the practice but would happily drive much, much further to receive treatment from the team. If you are thinking of applying for a role at Grange farm dental practice, I strongly advice not to. For many reasons Such as the main principle belittles members of staff and constantly undermines staffs abilities. Another reason would be that nurses with out having the correct qualifications are made to take CT scans and OPG at the practice. Or the fact , basic infection control is ignored and completely non-existent at grange farm. You will be patronised and told not to change your clinical gloves ‘to save the environment and stock levels’ and advised to put anti-bacterial gel on dirty gloves to make them ‘ clean’. If you work at this practice you will learn horrible habits and also not be appreciated by the principle. There is also never any patients most days of the week and will be left with a lot of administrative tasks instead. Another issue at the practice is a lot of information is withheld from staff , which could be a safety issue for female team members. This is regarding some outstanding GDC investigations on one of the principals who has apparently ‘ left under suspension and might return’ but the principal in charge currently will never disclose to the staff member that he has been suspended and under Investigation , she will just advice he’s taking personal time off even though it’s publicly published on the GDC website. I would really advise to stay away.
I am not going anywhere else! Mrs Challa and her team have literally saved me when another practice has left me with an unfinished root canal and a raging infection a few days before starting chemotherapy. I was franticly looking for a dentist to help me (during covid 2020) and I am so glad I found grange farm dental. I have been a patient there ever since and I have never experienced such amazing quality of care. The grange farm dental practice is one of the finest I have ever been to. The doctors and nurses have in-depth knowledge in their specialist areas. I had my tooth removed and the whole process from start to finish was excellent, including aftercare. Very friendly and makes you feel at ease. Highly recommend this surgery.
I am a nervous patient and was referred here by my dentist to have work done under anaesthetic. All the staff here were very kind, friendly and soothing. They contacted me by phone days before the procedure to ensure I was ok and well informed. On the day of the procedure, they were very caring and kind, which helped manage my anxiety and made the whole process very simple. Aftercare was exceptional and even helped walk me out to my transport in the rain. I cannot recommend Grange Farm enough.
I had 3 of my teeth extracted on January 2022 in the practice. Very friendly staff and the doctors were very nice, very happy and satisfied how they handle my appointment and my extraction. Will recommend everyone and if there is more of my teeth need to be done again, will be happy to be done in this practice.
