Such a lovely welcome, a great traditional restaurant and delicious food. I have been craving roasted Cantonese duck (I live in Devon and I can’t seem to find anywhere that does it like you get it in London), so looked up on Google and found this gem! Delicious! Highly recommended x

I had dinner with my friends there yesterday and really enjoyed it. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe, and the staff were friendly and quick. The food tasted fresh and properly done, especially the roasted duck and curry lamb. A great spot for Cantonese food.

Phoenix Palace is the most authentic and best Chinese restaurant I’ve found in London. I’ve been coming here for years, and even the locals love it. The roast duck, BBQ pork, and dim sum are always amazing—full of flavor and freshness. The staff are friendly, service is fast, and the atmosphere feels like home. I come here with my British friends twice a week—it’s truly one of the most popular and best restaurants in London.

After watching a YouTube video about this restaurant on Friday, I had the chance to visit today while I was in the area to buy a violin. What a wonderful decision! The dim sum was authentic and beautifully prepared, offering rich flavors and traditional quality. The dining atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming, and the convenient car park right next door made the visit even easier. The staff were warm and attentive, making me feel right at home. The food was so delicious that I couldn't resist ordering takeaway — everything was thoughtfully packed and still warm when I got back to Cambridge. A delightful experience; I’ll definitely return!

It’s a large Chinese restaurant that usually doesn’t require reservations or have any waiting time except during special seasons, so I visit only occasionally. I came back after 10 months, and while the quality of the ingredients seems the same, the food was far too salty. Last time, I ordered the “Beef with Black Bean Sauce” (B4), and it was so salty that I could barely eat it. This time, the scallop dish, prawn dish, and aubergine dish were all extremely salty too. Apart from that, there isn’t much to complain about. Recommended dishes include the crab or lobster with black bean sauce and added rice noodles, the aubergine with pork, and the crispy duck. The restaurant isn’t particularly expensive — even for four adults, the total (excluding wine) usually doesn’t exceed £200. As for the dim sum, I’m quite sure it’s pre-made, so I normally don’t order it. Just for your reference. Oh, and at the entrance, there are many photos of celebrities who have visited, and quite a few of them are familiar faces — but I’ve never actually seen any of them there myself.

This is an amazing Chinese restaurant. The food is tasty, the service was very good with just the right amount of attentiveness shown, and no sense of rushing us to finish. We enjoyed the chicken with black bean sauce and the crispy beef with chili. We also had fried rice. The portions are good size and we did not leave hungry. We also had some tea and desert which I recommend to wind up a delicious meal. My wife enjoyed the lemon sorbet and I had the coconut pudding which is more like a coconut custard. Both were very good. We highly recommend this restaurant, and as you will see, it is very well decorated. This is our new go to Chinese restaurant when we are in London.

Really an authentic Cantonese restaurant in London!!! Feel like I stay in HK LOL. All dishes are delicious! The crispy duck is crispy and flavourful recommend! The Chinese broccoli is stirred well. It is good for dining with family and reunions! Highly recommended!

Went to this Chinese restaurant with a bunch of friends to celebrate pre Christmas holiday. Each seat was provided a special Christmas gift Like the space and display of the restaurant cuz it genuinely regenerate the atmosphere of a traditional Chinese restaurant, and the most importantly, was attracted by its tidiness and the smell-free environment Various options, reasonable price. All the dishes we had were well seasoned. The tastes were neither greasy or salty, meats such as prawn, chicken, beef (accompanied by other vegetables or mushrooms) were delicious. A bit sad that they did not offer turnip cakes when we visited. Will definitely try it next time!

This is a decent Chinese (Cantonese) restaurant with a wide range choice of food available to choose including Dim Sun serving for dinner. Dim Sum is served for lunch but not dinner, but I am not complaining. Wine list is decent enough for a Chinese restaurant to be honest. Food is good but a bit pricey but I am happy to pay for the food. The decor is a bit too red for my liking, more like a Western perception of the Far East Oriental, but it is still tasteful. The only issue I have is the paper napkins. With the price of the food, I would expect something more high end than some paper napkins. Service is ok, nothing too wow about it, just a usual Chinese restaurant service standard. Food 8.5/10, ambience 8/10, service 7/10, value for money 8/10. A restaurant I would come back again.

One of the nicer, well decorated Chinese restaurants in London. Food was decent and nicely presented (the lobster and noodles was a bit light on seasoning but still a nice treat). Much more relaxed experience than restaurants in Chinatown.
