   I take my daughter here on a regular basis and am usually served by a lovely lady named Julie. She has always been friendly, helpful and thorough and of course patient with me as the mother!! She takes her time to check the fitting of the shoes and gives good advice in terms of what's best for little growing feet!!

   I visited the store today with my daughter and was left somewhat disappointed by our experience. We perused the available shoes whilst waiting to receive some service. Alas, if I thought any of the four people stood round the till talking were likely to acknowledge us, I was sadly mistaken. It would appear they're being paid to stand around idly gossiping, as opposed to attending to paying customers. Needless to say I took my custom elsewhere and am certainly in no hurry to ever return!

   Today I have made a purchase in Charles Clinkard shop in Leeds (LS1 6LB) and I would like to leave my feedback about one of the shop assistants who was looking after me. When I approached Jordan with a question if she could find me the right size of the shoes of my choice Jordan has replied immediately (without looking at the shoes) - "that's all what we've got". When I reminded her that this pair isn't on sale she agreed to have a look for the right size with very unhappy face - like I was bothering her. Unpleasant experience with Jordan continued throughout all the service. This girl could not make an effort for a single smile or for being simply polite. I would recommend being more careful with selecting / training your staff.

   Having been to the Leeds store to make a purchase, I asked a member of staff whether they had any spare shoe boxes I might have - for several years I have been sending welfare parcels to British troops in Afghanistan and was in need of more boxes. Over the past few years of visiting the shop to collect these shoe boxes, I have found all the staff to be extremely kind, courteous, helpful and very friendly. Their dealings with customers are always of the highest standard, and I look forward to my visits as it's always a pleasure to chat with them when they are not dealing with customers.
