   Very poor. How can they spoil chicken? - Sweet and sour chicken: bone‑dry, like shoe leather, even in the chicken chow mein. - Special fried rice: weird taste, oily. - Pork ribs: ropey. - Beef: some strips soft, most chewy. - Noodles: too soft, almost mushy. A total waste of hard earned £40 + Strange taste across the board. Zero score. Never going back. Left overs photos gone to the bin.

   Simply not good. Bought whole 3 dishes. Each one is... strange. It taste like some other cuisine. Rice is strange & oily, mushy. Duck is not infused with flavor, blunt. That is only if you manage to find those couple of pieces of duck among piles and piles of onions. Soup is weird, tomato paste tastes like borscht from Eastern cuisine. I've also asked an extra spicy, not spicy, extra spicy. Probably that cost me something too, not sure. I saw about 4 tiny pieces of red pepper. How so, how come, why and for what. Overall, I cannot recommend this place, at all, unfortunately.

   We haven't bought from here for a while as we've used the delivery platforms but decided to pop over yesterday, I must say I am impressed with the quality for the food, we had 2 x beef dishes, chicken and cashew nuts with yellow bean sauce and long house special rice, will buy again :)

   Had this Chinese first time on 27th March my Birthday. Wow wow wow it was fresh, tasty just delicious. Cost £77.00 but fed 6 Adults with great portion sizes. Definitely ordering again very soon. Thank You Long House

   Ordered my favorite aubergine dish, it was 50 per cent onions. They were so strong and acrid the flavour of the aubergines was lost. Chicken was not freshly cooked. I used to eat here all the time. Won't use it again. Tiny portions and double the price. No longer worth it.

   This is my local t/a. It does a good selection of Chinese dishes with a few Malay and Thai additions. Prices are reasonable and service is usually quick, except Friday and Saturday when they are very busy. I have been using them for a long time and never had any complaints (unless you count asking for Singapore noodles without chilli, but still getting it VERY spicy). When it is not busy, you can usually park outside, otherwise try around the corner in Plaistow Grove.

   I always use Long House and usually the food is fantastic. But my experience this evening has completely changed my perception. I made a large order of nearly £60 and the quality of all food items was extremely poor. Firstly they cooked the ribs in the wrong sauce. Admitted this fault then contested that the same fault was made on another order. The female chef could be heard shouting about this matter. The person on the phone, then handed of to the female chef who shouted at me continuously telling me that she only made a mistake on the ribs and not the prawns (never mind the fact that the rest of the room was poorly made). We asked that the food be replaced and they could take back the wrong order. The woman proceeded to shout and tell me that she would not take my order again, despite the fact that we were courteous to her. I had to repeatedly ask the woman to stop shouting but to no avail. We received the correct order in the end but again, poorly made; covered in grease and oil. I will not order from here again. Very disappointed.

   Lovely, lovely takeaway. We used to order from Long House most weekends but moved away, we are now back in the area and went to try it again. Happy to report that standard is still high and food is delicious. Gets super super busy which is always a good sign! Thank you Long House and keep up the great work.
