   Having tried a number of Chinese takeaways, this one is firmly my favourite in the local area. The food is consistently good and despite trying other places, we always come back to Golden Dragon. The service is always super friendly, they always get the order correct and the food is delivered faster than any other takeaway. Unfortunately, that was in the past. They are now terrible with service and regularly mess up orders. Make sure you check the food as they have included pork in veg and halal dishes before. Whether by accident or not, it’s unacceptable! If you want Chinese food in the local area then this is the place to go to. They offer halal chicken and beef too. Reducing down the rating as they messed up our order and gave us pork in the fried rice. Luckily I noticed it before anyone ate it but that is a serious mess up so for people that eat halal be careful as they do and have messed up! They asked that we bring it back and after the inspect it they may replace it. Not good enough. They have also messed up subsequent orders and wont do anything about it. Thus only deserve a one star rating now which is crazy as we initially rated them 5!

   Very Very Very poor service have been there twice the first time they did not want to accept my credit card and wanted cash! Eventually she took card in between also taking orders that were phoned in. I thought that perhaps they may have been short staffed in this first instance and ventured there a second time with an utterly abysmal service this time still taking face to face calls and answering calls then getting your order wrong. I called to explain that my duck in black bean sauce had been omitted I just had the b bean sauce! I had been told to come and get the duck in b bean sauce for which there was a £6.50 charge! I was all set to go down and get it but was warned that having been very vocal with their unsatisfactory service that it would not be a wise move!

   I have ordered from here a couple of times now. Same quality every time, except the prawn spring roll from last night was too oily. We enjoyed the King prawn fried rice a lot. My little one made sure she finished it. The delivery guy is very polite

   I would stay away from this restaurant at all cost not only was the man frightening when he got the order wrong, would not give me refund, put his hands all over the food so I could not even take it back with me argue in front of other customers very unprofessional. Please stay away from this restaurant.

   I just ordered egg fried rice and sweet & sour king prawn dough balls … under 10£ . I couldn’t finish it, I saved a single ball for when I’m next hungry , and a little bit of rice and allot of sweet and sour sauce as they gave me a small cup full ! The food was delicious, it was how Chinese food is supposed to be done not the fake or pakachinise that some offer … maybe the last bad review was some competition or just had a really bad day, I rate this place for the food quantity & quality and price ratio in comparison, this place has gotta be the best Chinese round these sides for sure ! It was the first Chinese I had around this strip , and I won’t even bother trying any others to be fair as I don’t like disappointment
