    I usually do not write bad reviews, but this was really bad food.Deep fried prawns went to the bin straight away, mabye it was miscommunication with guy that took my order, asked for a deep fried prawns and got doughnut like ball with small shrimp inside. Sweet and sour chicken was dry and taste was off - it was burned and dry. It seems to me that ingridients are low quality, food was oily (in a bad way). I really love chainese takeways, but this I will pass. Would not recommend.

    The food here is very bad. Probably the worst Chinese food I’ve had and on top of the bad food, the old bald man infront of the counter is very rude

    No seats waiting long time arguments are over heard in the kitchen. Food greasy and brown, why ? Not like that on Chinese cooking shows. And it is expensive now for a family meal.

    4/10 Chicken balls were rectangular and a little dry. Pastry thick not crispy, Duck chow main doesn’t taste fresh, more flavour needed and more bean sprouts Quick to bring out tho

    I've had many Chinese meals from other places around the UK, but will never forget the service and quality of food from this place. Whenever I come home to visit I don't feel complete unless I've had some Good Friend chinese! :)

    I wasn't asked what size portion of chow main I wanted as I thought it came in one size and was given small. Also chow main tasted and looked burnt. The guy serving was quite rude too

    Good food, food cooked well, good portion sizes, delicious food, it is a shame they do not deliver, also a shame they only accept cash as payment, finally service with a smile at the front desk would be nice, man can come across as grumpy, would return here and order again though, as long as the food is good that is the main thing I care about

    I was very pleased with my order I had a house special chow mein chips and barbecue sauce The chow mein was packed full of different meats prawns and vegetables and the noodles were great The order took ten minutes and the man behind the counter was cheerful Highly recommended chinese takeaway
