   I’ve been coming to Vanilla Tramp for years now, and can’t recommend it enough. I’ve had my hair done by nearly everyone at the salon and they’re all brilliant. I’ve always been made to feel super comfortable and nothing is ever too much trouble. Lilly has created a wonderful team and environment. They always make a fuss of my dog too - she gets looked after as well as I do!

   I had previously used Vanilla Tramp some time ago but decided to return for a balayage. I booked my appointment with Lilly. It was a little more expensive than I initially expected and I did consider cancelling, but I’m so glad I didn’t. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted, but Lilly really helped me work out what I didn’t want, and together we decided on something that would suit me. I was extremely happy with the result, the colour blended beautifully over my old highlights and looked warm, natural, and very well done. I had read a couple of unkind reviews about Lilly beforehand, which I found to be completely untrue. She was attentive, thoughtful, and kind throughout, and at the end she took the time to go back over everything we had discussed during the initial consultation. I was also very impressed to learn that Lilly is launching her own range of products, not an easy feat at all. All the staff were lovely and welcoming, and the overall experience was great. I would definitely recommend both Lilly and Vanilla Tramp.

   I’ve been going to Vanilla Tramp every week for years and honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. The girls are genuinely lovely people, so caring and welcoming, it never feels rushed or transactional. Lily, the owner, would do absolutely anything for her clients, you’re always made to feel looked after. The salon itself is immaculate, the products are all high-end and cruelty-free and the blow dries and balayage are hands-down the best in Manchester. What I also really appreciate is how SEN-friendly the salon is, you can choose whether you want to chat or not. They’re also clearly committed to inclusive and diverse recruitment, including providing employment opportunities for people with Down syndrome, which says a lot about their values. A brilliant salon run by genuinely good people. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

   I am super picky about my hair. And while I fully acknowledge it is just hair, I also don't go back to salons who don't give me what I want. I have been going to Vanilla Tramp since I arrived in Manchester about a year ago and won't go anywhere else while I live here. The staff is lovely, willing to play and tweak my hair as my mood shifts, and I always feel pampered and restored when I leave. I recommend them to everyone!

   My first time at Vanilla Tramp having been recommended by a friend. The Salon is super clean and smells lovely! I had a haircut and style with Rosie.. she was brilliant, super attentive and gave me lots of tips for products and styling at home. Love my hair! Thank you!

   I had a great experience with Rosie yesterday. I brought a photo for a guide for the haircut and she explained how it might look different on my hair colour and type which was really useful. She checked in with me a few times about the length to make sure I was happy and gave me good advice about how to replicate the finished style with a tong. The salon was busy which meant there was a 15 min wait. This is to be expected at this time of year but it would be great if in future I could get a text or something to let me know to come by a little later. This was my first time at Vanilla Tramp and I'll definitely be back!
