One of, if not, the best Chinese food in Romford. Hot, fresh, tasty and the spicy food is. Actually quite spicy

I haven’t been there but I am Chinese and by the photos I can tell you… THIS is not REAL TRUE Chinese cuisine folks! Only if you fancy dishes that are made cheap sweet, high carb and salty for Western tastes maybe this is the place for you. Ask any Chinese friend who knows Chinese food for an alternative recommendation! Hopefully this place improves by your helpful comments! They maybe a good family that just needs good constructive feedback.

We ordered a takeaway from this restaurant, and while serving the chilli beef, we found a long hair at the bottom of the dish (photo attached). At the same time, a family member eating their meal noticed a small black hair embedded in a prawn cracker (photo attached). When we called the restaurant to report this, the response was shocking unprofessional. After being passed around several people on the phone, the male manager simply said, "what do you want me to do?" When I requested a refund, as this was completely unacceptable, he blamed us, saying it was our responsibility to check our food before eating! When I asked if they had a food hygiene rating, his response was evasive and arrogant. He said" yes", but when I asked for the score, he repeated, "yes", without giving a clear answer. My advice: if your thinking of ordering from here insect your food carefully because this place clearly has no care for hygiene or customer service.

Should be zero stars. Total waste of money. Thai green curry was just oily slop, no spice, nothing like thai or curry. Ribs dry and old. Beef slimy and hard, tasteless apart from some chili powder thrown in which was all you could taste, prawns pretty much the same, oily rubbish. This was the worst experience of a takeaway for 50 years. It's sitting in the fridge if they want the lot back as it's basically inedible bar the rice and nothing like the food titles. Also 15 minutes late with 3 and a half hours notice on a Monday so hardly busy. Absolutely disgusting. One to cross off your list. Any positive reviews must be fake.

Worst Chinese we have ever ordered. Took 1 hour 45 to be delivered. The worst “salt and chilli” chips. They actually tasted like cinnamon and sugar- no peppers or onions in them. No spice. Chicken chow mein tasted old and not fresh. Don’t usually write a review but this is THE WORST Chinese we have ever had. Did not even touch the prawn balls as scared they would not be cooked. Do not order from here unless they sort themselves out.

Great beef chow mein, however I got my lungs ripped out

Used to be so good. I went in tonight for 3 items as I just wanted something small. They forgot 1 item and, the noodles were cold. Swret and sour sauce was watery. At least the chicken balls were hot.

The only reason I give this one star is because the service was prompt. The food was awful. The satay chicken was unbelievably dry and hard and the sauce itself was jelly like in texture and did not taste like peanuts. The sweet-and-sour chicken was as bad as the Satay chicken, the only saving grace of that dish was that the sauce itself was average. Vegetable spring rolls were okay. Plain chow main was… plain. I didn’t expect much from a plain chow main but this still disappointed.

Chicken in garlic turned up as fatty and gristly pork. Phoned to tell them and they insisted it was chicken. Would not believe me. Had to hang up as it was pointless talking to them. How blinking rude!
