Some of the food was really nice however the chicke balls are so so oily, not much chicken at all and the chicken that is in there is very dry. So for that, I have mixed emotions about this place
I order the beef vermicelli from here and it's amazing every time. A rare meal which often isn't on the menu. The chef is friendly and shows appreciate to return customers and I really like that. A friendly family with very tasty food. Well seasoned and good prices. I would prefer thinner coating on the salt and pepper wings but very flavourful!
Lovely local Chinese, we have used twice and will be back. We had the chicken chow main, sweet and sour balls, veggie spring rolls, crispy duck and the best prawn toast I have ever had.
I had been craving Chinese food for a while but had trouble finding a good local spot. After a recommendation from my hairdresser, we decided to try Mayflower. We ordered one of their set menus for three people, though it was just the two of us :) The variety was great, with egg fried rice, chicken balls, noodles, prawns, and sautéed veggies . The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were huge—definitely good value for money! The only thing we would say wasn’t the best was the sweet & sour sauce served with the chicken balls , it lacked taste. My partner went to pick up the order, and the collection service was excellent. The food was ready in just 15 minutes, so it was still piping hot and really enjoyable when we got home. We’ll definitely be back for more! Just a heads-up—make sure to bring cash when you go.
Always used mayflower for years never had any problems tonight we ordered and the chicken and beef had horrible smell and tasted vile ! Rang them up to complain and ignorant!! Told me there food hasn't changed even though we think there under new ownership as everything was different the tubs and containers etc. The food we did attempt was so bland had no flavour. Very very disappointed. Did begrudgingly give us a refund after wanting there food back and bring back to them !! AVOID !!!

Food amazinv and reasonably priced. Charges just gone up due to supplies, but still does great individual meal options for about £8 amazing large portion.
Excellent service, tasty and flavoursome food! Kung Po prawns had me on fire! kind delivery personel. Will be back!
