Have used Marios for the last 25 years,nice set up,very nice staff good at their job. My Partner used marios for 21 years.
Lovely, friendly & professional staff. A clean, bright & welcoming salon, with a family atmosphere. Top class haircuts at a very reasonable price. Have been having having my hair cut there since 2004. I won't go anywhere else. Fabulous establishment.
I started using Marios years ago after a bad experience with Supacuts, and had instantly been welcomed to the fold. I had always been assured that no appointments were needed and was able to walk in on a Saturday (only day free). Each time was a cracking experience, though noticed new staff each visit. Family kept mocking my use of hairdressers always saying for me to use Asian barbers instead of Marios but I ignored them each time. Cue today having been excited all week to visit for a cut, I arrive to see two new young ladies too busy giggling and chatting and said nothing to me as I sat down. It was only 5-10 mins later when one of the ladies asked me simply if i had an appointment - no smile. I replied no, so minutes later the same two personally greeted each elderly lady customer walking through the door like old friends, one of the ladies approaching saying no appointments available and asked me if i wanted to book at another time. My stomach felt sick like it had been dealt a blow, and I politely said i would book another time. Truth be told i never felt more unwelcome there and i have to look at another hairdressers in the future. Its a shame as i had always had a high opinion of the place. If i'm not welcome then i'm sorry but it's goodbye forever and i move on elsewhere. I wish the salon all the best in the future.
Walked in and it smelt awful. Got given a dirty cubical. Previous costumers hair wasnt cleaned up. Was very cold. Wash basin neck rest was very uncomfortable, it hurt and made my neck ache. Got given wrong advice and ended up ruining my hair. Not happy. Will not ever return.
