   Booked in October for bleach, cut and blow. Phone call 2 days before cancelling due to staff sickness. They managed to squeeze me in for a cut. The cut was really poor. Booked again for same bleach, cut and blow and I've had another call cancelling 2 days in advance and this time leaving me right before Xmas holidays with terrible hair due to a bad cut and no where able to fit me in for the roots to be done. In a professional salon other staff cover sickness. Once I can understand but not twice. Shocking service. I wouldn't use them despite their funky reputation.

   I don’t want to big Alison up as I might find it hard to get appointments with her in the future, but what a fantastic stylist, she understands exactly what I want and does a brilliant job. Alison is also a very interesting lady, very friendly with a lovely personality, an absolute go to if you want your hair sorting out, she certainly knows what she is doing and has plenty of experience. Excellent..

   Farah Naz is a great place, especially for the alternative types amongst us. I’ve been twice now and am booked in again. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted it, so I am really pleased. Kat is a really cool and interesting person to chat to and I had a great time yesterday.

   Really unhappy after my appointment for a regrowth/semi colour. Asked for the same as my previous appointment which was the first time I was totally happy with how the dark ashy colour lasted. Most times it faded and went orangey, even when using the blue shampoo they gave me for free to try and combat this, and only washing every 5 days. They lost my notes so couldn't remember what colour was used. We spent time trying to figure it out and I was told the junior would have to help apply the colour as my stylist only had 5 minutes left (not my fault). The roots are not the same dark colour and are patchy. I think either it wasn't applied correctly or wasn't left on long enough. I emailed the salon the same day with photos. They wanted me to go back in but I explained why that wasn't possible. No redress was offered except to look at my hair and try to figure out a way to fix it but I explained that I have lost faith in the salon after a year of visits. For the prices charged I don't expect patchy roots. The staff are very nice which makes this difficult but it doesn't get away from the fact that it was a poor job.

   I found Farah Naz Hairdressing through searching for a new hairdresser on Instagram. I chose Gin from all the stylists because I liked her story, her styling was cool and she has a great name!! I have been having my hair cut and coloured with Gin for 6 months and I have loved every look she has created. I come with an idea of what I want and she has helped me develop that idea into reality, and she has helped me push me out of my comfort zone and go for something new as well! She is a great hairdresser and colourist, and she is has a great way about her with her customers. I will be a returning customer for a very long time :)

   I’ve had my hair cut by Farah and Mark on separate occasions and they are both brilliant. Mark has also highlighted and coloured my hair. The consultation they do beforehand is excellent - I really appreciate the chance to talk through what I’d like and then how they use their expertise to work out how to make it work for my specific hair and face shape. It’s also very much a collaborative process which ensures we’re on the same page about what the style is going to be like. Would highly recommend Farah Naz to anyone for a cut or colour. Thank you for making me feel great!

   First time at the salon today. Cut and styled by Mark, who I may say, is an amazing person. Cut exactly how we discussed and absolutely love how my hair was styled. Mark was very calming as I was nervous. Great atmosphere and friendly team of people. Definitely the place to go, booked in for a colour in a couple of weeks. Thank you Mark

   I went to see Carly for a curly cut. She was so friendly and really passionate about curly hair which made me feel like I was in safe hands. She took the time to understand what I wanted and demonstrated that she knew her stuff. Most importantly, she gave me a great cut and when she was done the lady next to me said I looked like I was in a shampoo advert - think that says it all.

   Love coming to Farah Naz to get my hair done! Everyone at the salon is super welcoming and always do a brilliant job, especially Carly, who's been keeping my balayage looking fresh over the past 6 months. Can't wait for my next visit!
