   My reception by the entire staff upon making an appointment was warm and inviting. I returned a few days later for my first haircut with a blow-dry by the lovely and very talented, Emma. I left feeling very pleased. I'm transitioning to my natural grey, and I want my hair to be vivacious and healthy. Emma really listened and we have a plan to make it happen. I feel I'm in great hands and will post photos once we arrive!

   When you get back home from having a haircut and the first thing your daughter says is "your hair's nice dad" and then your wife says "that's a nice haircut" it speaks volumes. That was the result of me visiting Blakes. Jody cut my hair and I couldn't be happier. I was recommended to Blakes after two previous terrible cuts elsewhere and I couldn't be more grateful for the recommendation. The salon is very bright and puts a smile on your face, and yes, I've only been once, but when you get a good feeling, you know that you'll be back.

   I had my hair burnt by my hairdresser, it was literally like wire. I went to Blakes for advice, spoke to Chelsey, who advised I needed a chemical treatment. I went along yesterday and after 2 hours of treatment, a good cut and blow wave, my hair is back to normal. Chelsey was absolutely brilliant, explaining everything along the way. I can't thank her enough for giving me my hair back. I highly recommend this salon and will definitely be going back.
