I visited top curls via reference from within the industry……….the service made me feel as if they had opened the store just for me…………….a warm and friendly customer experience…………
The experience wasn’t great. Chose this salon as it’s another fellow black woman’s but I do regret ever thinking like that. Had a hair trim which was as good as undone. I had to ask her to comb my hair so it can be a nice trim. My hair looked better before the salon. No tidying nothing. At least listen to what the customer is saying. If you don’t have great experience in hair cuts and trim, it’s okay to say so. Am really disappointed Can’t wait for a month for it to grow back and go to another salon.
I am growing out an undercut which looks a bit of a mess now so thought a braid would be a good way to go. I’m white with european hair so I’m sure not as easy to do, but the lady who looked after me was brilliant. She explained it probably wouldn’t last long as the hair is still very short, but it looks great. One week in and there are a few hairs trying to escape but still good, I’ll definitely be back to get another braid while I grow this out.
I Always just walk in and get my hair styled. Truth be told, an appointment should be made. She's good at her job
As far as hairstyling salons go, top curls is the best value place in Manchester offering high quality braids for a reasonable price. Beverly is a friendly, hard working professional and extremely skilful. She has given me top quality braids on loads of occasions, some of her work is shown in the photos. The pricing is also good value and there is a discount available for students. I doubt you’ll find a better place to braid your hair in Manchester
Really relaxing place. Friendly and clean atmosphere. I told the Stylist my hair history and She explained the steps she was taking before she did. I so wish I knew about Top Curls years ago, seriously can’t wait to go back. Compared to other hairdressers it was value for money. I had relaxer treatment and cut and for what I had done I wanted to pay more. I felt taken care of. I was even tips on how to look after my hair at home.
Regularly get my daughters hair braided here. Staff are friendly and welcome you as walk through the door, great atmosphere. Never made an appointment and arrived and had to wait. Saloon is clean and staff have good hygiene (combs are washed regularly). They know their pricing system too, not one price for one person and another for someone else.

I went too Top Curld for the first time and will be definitely going back. I love my hair it's pretty perfect. The Owner and her employees are warm and welcoming, tea and coffee given .I had travel over 20 miles just on a recommendation, and I wasn't disappointed.. Top Curls you ROCK....!
