   Went in last saturday first thing, couldn't recomend this place anymore if I tried. Always struggled with barbers due to my hair being thin and blonde, many would say they'd do what I ask or the style to result to the generic short back and sides and shortening top. When I arrived and explained what I wanted and my frustrations I was quickly advised that the style I chosen wouldn't suit my hair and another style was discussed based on what I wanted, what products to use etc. This cut is by far the best I've had can tell there's a masssive amount of knowledge there, very happy and genuinly the best cut I've had in my life. Will be returning regurally and wanted to share this experience as a good Barber is a god send.

   Decided to give GHS a try. Dave has fixed my haircut from the rubbish I had, and he's maintaining it superbly. If you're looking for a friendly and professional barber, great price, a nice atmosphere and experienced advice, Dave is the person to go to. Will definitely be going again!

   I’ve just moved to the area, this is my second haircut with Dave. As soon as you went into the barbers he makes you feel welcomed, he’s professional and experienced. If you are looking to get a haircut this is the place to go. Best haircut I’ve ever had. I now wouldn’t go anywhere else.

   I’ve been having my hair cut by Dave at GHS for the past 18 years, and still do despite now living 40 minutes drive away. Why? Because every haircut at GHS is quick, friendly and easy. Dave is by far the best barber in Marple, and probably in Stockport or Greater Manchester (maybe even the UK, but I haven’t tried any outside Manchester to compare!) I will continue to go to GHS until the day Dave retires, and then I’ll have no choice but to grow a mullet.
