   I recently went to this barber for a haircut and beard trim, and I was quite disappointed with my experience. I was charged £34, which in my opinion is far too expensive for the level of service I received. When the barber started shaping up with the blade, he was about to do it without using any gel or protective product. I had to remind him that my skin is sensitive and to please use something before using the blade. He then said he was going to use it anyway, but even after that, he only applied gel on my beard area and not on my neck. As a result, the skin on my neck became red and sore, and it stung for several days afterwards. It was clearly irritated from the blade being used without proper preparation or care. For the amount charged, I expected a higher standard of service and more attention to detail — especially when it comes to using the right products and ensuring customer comfort. Overall, I don’t think it was worth the price. The haircut itself was fine, but the lack of care during the shave and the high cost left me feeling disappointed. I don’t think I’ll be returning, as there are other barbers who charge more reasonable prices and take better care of their clients’ skin.

   After being at my current barbers for over 4 years I thought I’d try somewhere different. I found house of fades better than the barbers I’ve been at for years. Very clean place, clean skin fade and beard shape up. Would highly recommend!

   I came here last Wednesday with my 3Y/O and both had our hair cuts and was the first time here. So polite and friendly. Allowed my son to pick a drink from the fridge ( several options) also offered me a drink numerous occasions. Asked what product was best to use for my hairstyle and allowed me to take a new tub home for free to try. Will definitely be using this as my regular. Cuts were amazing !!!
