   Been to M1 nails a few times and couldn’t recommend enough! Really lovely team, always able to walk in and they’ll make time, and been really happy with my nails each time. Had a spa pedicure with gel nails recently and it was so relaxing, including a foot mask and massage chair!

   I came yesterday to get my nails done for the Christmas season as I always do and as always they are perfect the staff are really friendly and helpful. You will never see me in any other nail salons this is my all time favourite salon I will never stop coming here. You never disappoint me M1. Thank you for service ❤️❤️

   I've been going to M1 nails off and on for nearly a decade. I used to go to their Arndale location, but when that closed I moved over to Shudehill. The off & on is because I like to give my nails a break, but I've never switched to a different location, because I've always been really happy with how my nails turn out. I have a acrylic with gel polish, always a mid length oval and a plain colour, because I'm definitely a creature of habit. I've never had a chip in the polish, or a nail break, and I genuinely don't think they can be beaten on price for what you get. I do prep my cuticles before going, which they then complete, as I like to get as clean a finish as possible. Are there more luxurious manicures in Manchester? Yes. Do they cost 3x the price? Also yes. For anyone who wants a solid service at an affordable price, M1 are fantastic. Nail art isn't for me, but they're great at that too.

   I went here for the first time and the price I paid for the work that was done was shocking! I asked for biab on natural nails with a pink colour over it. My cuticles were not cleaned, nails were not trimmed to the same length and not filed. They went straight into doing the biab. I asked if my nails will be cleaned and he asked me ‘you want your nails cleaned?’. How on earth would you get clean looking nails without cleaning and shaping them first!? He then said cleaning of the cuticles and shaping will be done after. I said that wouldn’t give me a clean finish and he said it would be even better that way. I knew at that point, I wasn’t going to get what I wanted. The biab was done and I was passed onto another staff member who cleaned the cuticles and shaped it really badly. He then did another layer of biab to cover the gap formed from cleaning the cuticle. This then resulted in a very thick biab on my nails. This disappointing experience cost me £42 and I definitely will not recommend it to anyone or go again.

   After getting a fresh set of gels done it was less than 2 hours until I noticed it started to bubble and peel on my thumb! I was gutted as I loved the colour and it was a one off coming to this salon as I’m not local !! Seems the gel wasn’t cured for long enough. Definitely won’t be recommending

   I walked in with my friend and was greeted warmly , the lady that did my nails was very kind and reassuring , i am super happy with my nails. Another member was extremely nice and would talk to me throughout it all. i am very happy

   I went around 3 weeks ago and got white French tips acrylics, when I went In I was sat with one women who seemed a bit rude and didn’t check to see if the nail fitted my finger but instead just assumed and stuck them down straight away, she would also speak in her language to the women next to her. I felt like they was speaking about me as they would both say things and look at me and laugh, I was then passed to the other woman who finished my nails and seemed a bit more welcoming. After my nails were finished they were in pain and I could barely use my hands to do anything for a few days and would need help, after about 4 days my nails were fine and I didn’t have any problems up until the other day where both nails on my index fingers started to lift up and my hair would get caught in them and when I would use them they would be in really bad pain that felt like bruising so today I decided to soke my nails and take them of which I struggled to do as they felt like they were really stuck down, when I finally got my nails of my actual nails have been ruined and have gone very thin. Both of my index finger nails won’t remove and every time I try to take them of or use them they are in really bad pain and I’m pretty sure they are bleeding.
