I was refused a refund for a 3 pack of Nike socks, today by the manager Beckie, which I had purchased exactly 90 minutes earlier, firstly because I didn’t have a receipt, which the guy who served me confirmed he didn’t give one and once that one didn’t work she advised me they dont refund socks! Due to sanitary reason, when we advised her she was being pathetic, it was 90 minutes ago and they were still bundled together and stapled together ask if she could get her foot in them, and she was being a pick she told my son to leave she store and it was her store…… you are just a number to footlocker Beckie no more, if you think your rude and extremely unprofessional behaviour will get you anywhere, you going to get a very rude awakening. You don’t mean anything to them

The ‘store manager’ was exceptionally rude when I wanted to return 6 pairs of shoes because they were cheaper from Schuh. She declined and said they need to be returned to the warehouse. Anyone that tries to return online with footlocker knows it’s never straight forward, they never refund the item and you have the end up sending emails to chase it 1-2 months later! She made up her own store policies, and then snatched my phone out my hand when she thought I was recording, this is gross misconduct and I will be logging a formal complaint!

Went to this store, started browsing and within 2 minutes had a member of staff come up to us and ask if we needed any help we politely declined, then we had a few items in hand but just so happened to be standing behind the till whilst looking at other things, the same member of staff came up to us again and asked if we wanted to keep our stuff behind the till we once again declined and said we were still shopping. Then my sister who wasn’t stood with us overheard the member of staff say to the man behind the till to “watch them pair over there holding the Nike socks and top” my sister came and told us, we asked why we needed to be watched to which he replied I didn’t even say anything, my sister said I literally heard you I was stood behind you. He started to mouth off so we started to argue back. Not worth giving our money to them so went and spent our money in footasylum where staff never once said anything to us while we were browsing. Needs better staff that aren’t going to assume we’re going to rob the store because we didn’t want help from him. Lost out on a good sale and good custom but clearly they don’t want the money

I had a very disappointing experience at the Footlocker in Merry Hill. My boyfriend bought me a pair of Nike Dunks in mid-November (£75), and since I didn’t like them, we went back a few days ago to return them. A female staff member told us we could not get a refund and could only exchange for something else. This made no sense because the receipt clearly states that as long as the item is unworn and we provide the receipt, we have 100 days to return or exchange it. Her explanation was that the shoes were “on clearance,” which was simply not true. I called Footlocker customer service immediately after, explained everything in detail, and the agent confirmed that only Footlocker OUTLETS have no-refund policies. They advised me to try returning the shoes at another Footlocker store. Today, I went to a different Footlocker and the refund was processed smoothly within minutes — no issues at all. I still don’t understand why Merry Hill Footlocker refused a valid return?? Very unprofessional and misleading. I will definitely never shop at this Footlocker again.

Great Customer Service at the Merry Hill Branch TJ (Sales Assistant) was an absolute delight — a genuinely kind and welcoming young gentleman. His approach was by far the most refreshing and personable service I’ve experienced in any business recently. He was incredibly patient and great with both of my children, especially taking the time to help my son choose the right footwear. I couldn’t fault his service at all — his positive attitude and helpfulness made the whole experience a pleasure. A real credit to the team!

Foot Locker ought to be proud of their manager here and indeed Saff for being so helpful to customers. Saff clearly is going places as the director of a company myself I was really proud to see such a young employee be so great with customers today! I hope management see this review and reward him accordingly, we were incredibly stressed due to a competitors lack of customer service but Saff was really knowledgeable about trainers and the kids sizes available and he went out of his way to suggest different styles/trainers for my nieces and nephews Christmas presents. Foot Locker give this team a heap of praise in the Merry Hill store!

Saff is an asset to your team. Very helpful, and patient going through each stock to help me find trainers in the sizes I needed. I know nothing about kids sizes but he really helped. Thank you mate honestly JD was chaos and nobody knew what they were doing you saved our day thank you! Holly the manager was so pleasant and professional too. The store looks to be managed in a way that is organised and a pleasure to be a customer for in the future.

Probably the best trainer shop in merry hill for customer service. I went into jd sports and was treated awfully in there the staff were rude and very unhelpful and left us standing for a long time wondering what was going on, we walked out in the end disgusted and went into foot locker where we were welcomed and the staff were brilliant it's the best customer service we've ever had, the lady that dealt with us was lovely and couldn't do enough to help.

Honestly the staff have great service and work hard to a high standard but the stores range is awful. One of the biggest brands they do is there Nike's Jordan brand and the have 6 shoes. Good service but let down badly by there auditors and management. I'd recommend visiting a larger store if you're after something that was released in the last year.
