   Absolutely horrific experience. Booked an appointment and when I arrived they were completely over booked. People were waiting 2+ hours. The nails are completely uneven, not ‘ballerina’ shape in the slightest and the ombré was more like a French tip. I waited an hour and a half and they were still unfinished so I left. They charged me £36 for unfinished nails. She said they were normally £43 but on the website said it would be £38. Will not be returning and will not recommend to others.

   This place is probably better for acrylics. Do not come here for regular nail polish. They did my pedicure and it was fine, but when they did my nails they used the drill to buff them down, I explained to the woman that I wasn't doing acrylics so didn't need my nails aggressively buffed at which point she told me she hadn't buffed my nails, even though she had and the marks from the file were so deep that even with nail varnish they were clearly visible. There are very limited nail varnish options for regular nail polish and the bottles are not transparent, when I asked the lady if she had something lighter than what I had picked out she told me "you looked at them". Anyway now my nails have a ridge from where they were buffed down, and they regularly chip too. The picture for my review is from a month after I'd been there and the ridge is very visible.

   This is a great nail salon in Wilmslow. Such a good little find. I’d used other places in the area, but was never happy with the results. I’ve always had a great, friendly service here. Nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend!

   I have been going here for years- Sally, Ron and the team are so lovely. You can book appointments or chance a walk in but they will always accommodate you. Friendly faces, lovely cappuccino and great nails. Definitely recommend

   Great professional and friendly service, Ronald does my nails every few weeks he’s a great nail technician (I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!) All the staff in the salon are very talented. The shop is always open making it very convenient to book an appointment even with how busy they are! American nails offer a variety of nail treatments with a top service 5*, highly recommend
