This place is now called D&A and new management for the past year or so. Its a husband and wife team working there. Update: now been going for a few years. Such lovely people. Very chatty and friendly so I have no worries about possible trafficking, which can be an issue in some of the bars. I get regular acrylics, infills, pedicures and my brows tinted and waxed. Ann is particularly good at doing my brows and I prefer her to some of the professional brow and waxing shops I've tried. I have been twice for acrylics (application and infill). Both technicians are very meticulous and I am pleased with the results. They're also very friendly and sweet.

i got my nails done last weekend with my friend for christmas and i arrived at the nail place( d and a) and 1.30ish then finished there at 4!!!! 3 and a half hours sitting in there and it wasn’t there fault because they had a lot of customers but they did lots of more people before doing me and my friend. Whilst my friend was getting hers done the lady was quite rude and was making fun of her nails because she bites them, she had to pay £28 pounds for little squares on her nails. Apart from that, my outcome of the nails were really good and might go back there depends on how busy it is. My nails cost £32 and i think they are worth it. If you’re in a rush i would avoid at all costs.

I believe this salon was previously called Hoang, but when I called I found out they have new owners, and are now called D & A nails. I was sceptical after reading the reviews on google. However, when I arrived, the staff were very friendly - A man and his wife. They engaged in friendly conversation, talking about their family, and asking genuine questions. There were 2 other women having their nails done whilst I was in there. One of the women explained to me that there was new owners in the store now, and how it was much better than when the previous owners were there. I had my nails done on 8th July, and over two weeks later they are still look great (no chipping or peeling). Plus the price is very reasonable. I would definitely return there.

Nicely finished set of acrylics, pleased with how short it took to do my nails and then end result was still good. Had to pay £26 for them. With all the other reviews about the staff...it is true that they have Chinese conversations whilst doing your nails and point at your hands when they need to do something on them rather than ask for your hands. They do walk-ins so you don't have to book if you desperately need a pair of nails doing. Anyway you go to get your nails done, not to have a conversation.

Terrible, the staff are so rude I asked for a Certain set of nails and they did something so different. I asked for acrylics with a burgundy and glitter part that fades out. Instead I got bright red nails that look tacky and a big clump of glitter on one. Also many of them are slanted and looks like a five year old did them.i had to pay £27 on them! I will be asking for a refund and will Write a follow up review on what they say. I had to wait for at least 2 hours and we wasn't even noticed. Also my friends nails turned out also slanted. I would ha e told them I wasn't paying whilst I was there but I thought they would turn out okay once dried. Hopefully I will get a full refund & never return there again. Whilst posting about my nails because I was Angry, another friend told me her mum went to the same place and her nails dropped off the next day. I could ha w done better nails my self. If you don't want awful overpriced nails, don't go ________ I went back the next day and asked for a refund, instead she asked me if she could give me anew set I said no so she said well you can wait and I will take them off for you and then you can have your moneh back. I said okay but how long would it be. She then said it would take up to two hours waiting so I said no I won't wait for two hours. So she chopped off my nails and turned them ragged and awful. She was so rude and started ragging my nails about. It's the most disgusting nail shop iv been to

Asked for gel nails and they peeled off the next day which I obviously wasn't happy about. So I went back in and asked for a full set of acrylic nails as a refund instead as this was the same cost as what he did before and he made me pay again. He held my ID thinking I would run off when this was never my intention and made me feel like I was a criminal. Scummy salon would never ever return not in a million years. Owner is awful. Hopefully will go out of business and probably will judging other people's experiences as well.
