Kanis and Shojol both were Marvellous servers! Very welcoming, the shop floor was clean and very well kept. Food tasted amazing, overall excellent service and Quality of food was immaculate
I came in here Earlier to get food and I was struggling to decide so I asked one of the staff members. His name was Mahen and honestly he was SO helpful and made sure I got my moneys worth aswell as making sure I wasn’t waiting too long. Best service I’ve received from any sort of food place. He was really respectful and patient and overall just great service from him and the food was AMAZING!!! Next time I will definitely come and sit in with people
I stopped by GDK in Bethnal Green today, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. The food was hot, fresh, and packed with flavour—exactly what you want when you’re craving something satisfying. Every bite hit the spot. A big shout-out to Amalia for her amazing customer service. She greeted me with a smile, helped me with my order, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Her attitude was upbeat, genuine, and made the whole visit feel welcoming. If you’re in Bethnal Green and want great food paired with top-tier service, GDK is definitely worth the stop. Thanks to Amalia, it was a 10/10 experience.
Ordered an OG Kebab and Jr Doner Burger via the official GDK app — food arrived cold. The Jr Burger came with random dill pickles inside despite me deselecting it, but worse than that — it had a piece of blue roll inside the burger. Completely disgusting and totally unacceptable from any food establishment. I called the restaurant to raise the issue and was met with unhelpful, rude service. The woman who answered claimed the manager was “on break” and that she didn’t have his number — which is baffling in itself. After making me repeat myself multiple times, she gave me a fake name and hung up on me. Totally unprofessional. Will NEVER be ordering from this branch again. Hygiene standards seem non-existent and the staff clearly don’t care about customers or basic food safety. Avoid this place — not worth the risk.
Very good branch - food was fresh and device was excellent. Nily took our order and was very welcoming and helpful. We were confused on what to get and she was able to advise us and give us an amazing meal! Came back a few days later and ordered the panini - was really nice with mix beef. My friend ordered the OG Kebab but had to take a phone call - Layla offered to keep is food on the hot plate until he returned. Once again solid service!
The signature kebab is a must try! Don’t get cheated by the pics, it’s actually whole lots of beef under! Very affordable kebab
I liked the place very much. The food was delicious, made from fresh ingredients, kebab was excellent. The staff was polite and attentive to our requests. Special thanks to Oleg for professionalism. The only downside was that there was only one child seat while we were with 2 kids, but the kids had plenty of room to run around and the staff were very attentive to them. We were so engrossed in the food that I didn't have time to take pictures. :)
My first experience was terrible. They say they close at 12, and I came at 11:28pm. Was told I cant eat in, was also told they don't have beef donar to takeaway when there was enough beef left. Very disappointed. Made me walk a long way for nothing. I usually don't give 1 star rating but I have no choice. Interior design is good tho. But poor service. Never coming back here ever again. Date 19th December 2020 at 11:28pm just incase the management wants to investigate the matter.
