   My wife and I went to buy some food on New Years Eve, we asked if we could order food directly and was told if we were going to pay by card then we would have to use the machine to order, this was the first issue as 2 minutes after ordering someone came in and the staff took their order over the counter and they paid by card. When the order was being made up it burned out that it was not what we wanted, again if we could have ordered over the counter there would have been no mistake as we could have asked what was in the food. We had asked for large fries, when they came i asked twice if it was a large portions and they said yes. When we got home (2 minutes later) we found that we had about 20 fries per bag (and these were supposed to be large and i note that others have also made the same complaint re: portion size) and the food was stone cold. We were hoping to bring thebnew year in with a nice meal but this turned out to be a great disappointment. It felt like staff just wanted us out so they could close up, they were helpful.

   recently visited GDK in Chingford, and I was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The restaurant was clean, well-organised, and had a really welcoming atmosphere. The food was fresh, tasty, and prepared with care — exactly what you hope for when you’re grabbing something to eat. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional customer service. I was served by Zaima, and she was absolutely brilliant. She greeted me with a warm smile, was patient while I ordered, and made sure everything was just right. It’s rare to come across someone who takes so much pride in their work, but she really went above and beyond to make the experience a positive one. You can tell she genuinely cares about the customers and the quality of service she delivers. Overall, my visit to GDK Chingford was outstanding. Great food, a clean environment, and top-tier customer service. I’ll definitely be returning — and I highly recommend this branch to anyone looking for a consistently great experience.

   Disappointed with portion size and value I ordered the Doner Box Fries & Cheese and was really let down. The portion was much smaller than advertised the box was barely half full, nothing like the photos shown on the menu. For £8.99, it’s just not worth the money. I’ve ordered before and had better experiences, but this time it felt like I was shortchanged. I hope the restaurant takes more care to ensure consistency and better value going forward.

   I ordered my food inside the restaurant and I was told that it will be ready in 10-15 minutes I got my food within 10 minutes so that was a great start. The food was fresh and looked very appetising, I ordered the Doner Boss Box mixed with double meat. It was worth every penny, the taste was banging and very filling. The sauces are great and the service was 10/10. You should definitely try the Chingford Branch.

   It's a new place, so everything inside is clean and fresh. They have self-service desks for orders. We went there with a pram, it went through and i was able to park it inside. They have wheelchair accessible toilet, which was clean at the time of the visit. The service was a bit slow and messy, we had to ask for missed juice, sauces and napkins. The food was nice, I liked beef döner, I choose hot fries and they were really hot). We were off peak time, so not much people inside. Meal deal is a bit pricey, but ok.

   1st time using and as others had mentioned, painfuly slow and portions poor value for just under £7(meat/chips/salad) all in a tiny box, see pic for comparison next to a tin of coke. On the plus side it tasted good.
