The food was ok. A little too much bbq sauce, especially on the burnt ends and the cornbread didn't have much flavour. But the ribs, mac and cheese balls and wings were very good with excellent service. Burnt spring greens were good until the bottom where there was way too much fat.
This was my first time at a Bodean's, and it was totally worth the wait. The service was outstanding from beginning to end. Our sever, Sophie, was attentive, welcoming, and so friendly. She is a real credit to the company and really highlights what good service really is. Both drinks and food came out quickly, and all of it was delicious. The star of the show for me was the spring greens with blue cheese and bacon. I didn't think I could get that excited about spring greens , but I wanted to lick the plate. The wings were big and crispy. The ribs were so tender. A big thumbs up from me .
We ordered Bodeans off Uber eats delivery. We got the 2 chicken thighs, ribs and pulled pork. As you would expect from delivery, the ribs and chicken were a little dry but they both had decent flavour. The pulled pork came in a small portion and had decent flavour but also very dry. The chips were a little sad looking but the macaroni was not bad with a really strong truffle flavour. Highlight has to be the buffalo wings in hickory bbq. Not a bad bbq option for home delivery.
So my parents wanted to go somewhere that did burgers, ribs and roast meats and years ago I went here and had a pretty good time. I decided to check it out again after all these years and we weren't disappointed, the food was tasty and the slaw had some spice to it but it was very enjoyable. The staff were great they found us a table quickly and looked after us. My parents can be a bit fussy but they were well looked after which pleased them. The three of us had a mix of meats, mum had ribs, dad had a burger and I had the burnt ends and brisket. It was all cooked very well. The brownie was nice with ice cream. Dad liked the cider and I had a Coke zero. It hit the spot. They did ask us how it was and we told them we were pleased with the food and service. I'm not sure how I could have gone this long without visiting a Bodeans. Worth every penny. We ordered a delicious meat platter which arrived within 2 or 3 minutes - God bless you slow cooking. We had ribs, chicken burnt ends and other bits and bobs I can't recall but it was all soft, succulent and made joy a new flavour. Great hot sauce selections too, a well-made American smokehouse. Will return.
Plenty of BBQ meat options available. Ribs, burgers, hot dogs and burnt ends to name a few. Fries were nicely seasoned and some decent beers/larger which you can get in a 4 pint jug which is perfect if you are with a group! Second time at Bodeans when visiting London, will go again!!
An excellent place to eat with some of the nicest BBQ food around. Every staff member we spoke to that evening couldn't have done enough for us and were very friendly! Not too be missed if you're in the area!
I've enjoyed the food each time I've been to Bodeans. The burnt ends are a particular favourite of mine and I'm always tempted to order them. The staff have always been really helpful and provided a great service. I can highly recommend.
