The staff are very friendly and the organisation of the shop is always very neat and tidy. I got myself a lovely scarf and gloves from here. I would highly recommend this shop.
Afternoon tea at Christmas. Poor value for money. Table too cramped for 10 of us too narrow. No room for teapots and hot water. Food were mini Versions of sandwiches . Two lots of tea were spilt by staff. It was not a nice experience
Really helpful staff, and plenty of choice, lovely designs. Managed to buy everything I needed in one shopping experience. Will definitely be going back.
4 of us came on a Tuesday lunchtime to the cafe, we have been before and always enjoyed it ! When we came it was really busy and they had a refurbished cafe since we last came. It was nice and colourful but the seating seems to have reduced not sure what it’s like upstairs as we didn’t go up but where we was sat we felt squashed ! The lady who was serving us was nice but kept telling us she was new and we didn’t need to keep being told but she did a great job. When the food came it came wrong as my mum is Gluten free & when the lady sue who was a different lady to who took the order brought her food out she slammed it down on the table and my mum said I didn’t ask for a toastie I asked for a normal sandwich “ Just to make you aware gluten free bread always has to come toasted “ so we spoke to a manager and we got it sorted my mum recieved a normal sandwich with some complimentary fries ! My jacket potato was nice and so was the others, we won’t be returning as sue was very rude and abrupt and it’s put us off.
Rude staff and really slow service. Waited 15 minutes to order a coffee. Walked out in the end.

A surprise, well worth a visit although many clothing items are one size. Good range though. The little cafe is reasonably priced & worth a visit
Called in this lunchtime with an old friend. Had the afternoon tea and was very impressed. Everything very fresh and tasty, nice welcoming manner from the ladies in the cafe.
My daughter just treated me to a lovely lunch in the cafe at Readmans. The food was delicious and all the staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. They had some really beautiful clothing, accessories and home pieces in, I could have bought everything! Certainly worth a visit!
